1. And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.
以利亚对他们说，拿住巴力的先知，不容一人逃脱。众人就拿住他们。以利亚带他们到基顺河边，在那里杀了他们。

2. Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
你又使我的仇敌在我面前转背逃跑，叫我能以剪除那恨我的人。

3. And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,
耶稣站住，吩咐把他领过来。到了跟前，就问他说，

4. Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.
他们又喊着说，不要这人，要巴拉巴。这巴拉巴是个强盗。
