1. I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
我现在要下去，察看他们所行的，果然尽像那达到我耳中的声音一样吗。若是不然，我也必知道。

2. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
生死在舌头的权下。喜爱他的，必吃他所结的果子。

3. Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
并要从百姓中拣选有才能的人，就是敬畏神，诚实无妄，恨不义之财的人，派他们作千夫长，百夫长，五十夫长，十夫长，管理百姓，

4. And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.
不可使你的儿女经火归与摩洛，也不可亵渎你神的名。我是耶和华。

5. And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
凡以色列中出产的十分之一，我已赐给利未的子孙为业。因他们所办的是会幕的事，所以赐给他们为酬他们的劳。

6. And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?
你心里若说，耶和华所未曾吩咐的话，我们怎能知道呢，

7. Now the cities of the tribe of the children of Benjamin according to their families were Jericho, and Bethhoglah, and the valley of Keziz,
便雅悯支派按着宗族所得的城邑就是，耶利哥，伯曷拉，伊麦基悉，

8. So they turned and departed, and put the little ones and the cattle and the carriage before them.
他们就转身离开那里，妻子，儿女，牲畜，财物都在前头。

9. And Saul said, I will give him her, that she may be a snare to him, and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him. Wherefore Saul said to David, Thou shalt this day be my son in law in the one of the twain.
扫罗心里说，我将这女儿给大卫，作他的网罗，好藉非利士人的手害他。所以扫罗对大卫说，你今日可以第二次作我的女婿。

10. Then said Joab to Cushi, Go tell the king what thou hast seen. And Cushi bowed himself unto Joab, and ran.
约押对古示人说，你去将你所看见的告诉王。古示人在约押面前下拜，就跑去了。

11. And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
以利亚前来对众民说，你们心持两意要到几时呢。若耶和华是神，就当顺从耶和华。若巴力是神，就当顺从巴力。众民一言不答。

12. Now, behold, thou trustest upon the staff of this bruised reed, even upon Egypt, on which if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt unto all that trust on him.
看哪，你所倚靠的埃及是那压伤的苇杖人若靠这杖，就必刺透他的手。埃及王法老向一切倚靠他的人也是这样。

13. And he said, I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And the Lord said, Thou shalt entice him, and thou shalt also prevail: go out, and do even so.
他说，我去，要在他众先知口中作谎言的灵。耶和华说，这样，你必能引诱他，你去如此行吧。

14. Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.
不义之人的住处总是这样。此乃不认识神之人的地步。

15. For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
因为我遵守了耶和华的道，未曾作恶离开我的神。

16. But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
恶人若回头离开所作的一切罪恶，谨守我一切的律例，行正直与合理的事，他必定存活，不致死亡。

17. Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their blood by the force of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and be widows; and let their men be put to death; let their young men be slain by the sword in battle.
故此，愿你将他们的儿女交与饥荒和刀剑。愿他们的妻无子，且作寡妇。又愿他们的男人被死亡所灭，他们的少年人在阵上被刀击杀。

18. Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
那时彼得进前来，对耶稣说，主阿，我弟兄得罪我，我当饶恕他几次呢。七次可以吗。

19. And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.
那人说，这一切我从小都遵守了。

20. Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.
你为什么问我呢。可以问那听见的人，我对他们说的是什么。我所说的，他们都知道。

21. But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.
就辞别他们说，神若许我，我还要回到你们这里。于是开船离了以弗所。

22. And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
有一位大力的天使举起一块石头，好像大磨石，扔在海里，说，巴比伦大城，也必这样猛力的被扔下去，不能再见了。
