1. And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,
举目观看，见有三个人在对面站着。他一见，就从帐棚门口跑去迎接他们，俯伏在地，

2. And thy brethren also of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring thou with thee, that they may be joined unto thee, and minister unto thee: but thou and thy sons with thee shall minister before the tabernacle of witness.
你要带你弟兄利未人，就是你祖宗支派的人前来，使他们与你联合，服事你，只是你和你的儿子，要一同在法柜的帐幕前供职。

3. A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.
愚昧人不喜爱明哲，只喜爱显露心意。

4. Then Jethro, Moses' father in law, took Zipporah, Moses' wife, after he had sent her back,
便带着摩西的妻子西坡拉，就是摩西从前打发回去的，

5. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the LORD your God.
你晓谕以色列人说，我是耶和华你们的神。

6. Therefore shall they have no inheritance among their brethren: the LORD is their inheritance, as he hath said unto them.
他们在弟兄中必没有产业。耶和华是他们的产业，正如耶和华所应许他们的。

7. And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet received their inheritance.
以色列人中其馀的七个支派还没有分给他们地业。

8. And the children of Dan sent of their family five men from their coasts, men of valour, from Zorah, and from Eshtaol, to spy out the land, and to search it; and they said unto them, Go, search the land: who when they came to mount Ephraim, to the house of Micah, they lodged there.
但人从琐拉和以实陶打发本族中的五个勇士，去仔细窥探那地，吩咐他们说，你们去窥探那地。他们来到以法莲山地，进了米迦的住宅，就在那里住宿。

9. And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father's house.
那日扫罗留住大卫，不容他再回父家。

10. And David sent forth a third part of the people under the hand of Joab, and a third part under the hand of Abishai the son of Zeruiah, Joab's brother, and a third part under the hand of Ittai the Gittite. And the king said unto the people, I will surely go forth with you myself also.
大卫打发军兵出战，分为三队，一队在约押手下，一队在洗鲁雅的儿子，约押兄弟亚比筛手下，一队在迦特人以太手下。大卫对军兵说，我必与你们一同出战。

11. And Elijah went to shew himself unto Ahab. And there was a sore famine in Samaria.
以利亚就去，要使亚哈得见他。那时，撒马利亚有大饥荒。

12. Twenty and five years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Abi, the daughter of Zachariah.
他登基的时候年二十五岁，在耶路撒冷作王二十九年。他母亲名叫亚比，是撒迦利雅的女儿。

13. And he smote Moab; and the Moabites became David's servants, and brought gifts.
又攻打摩押，摩押人就归服大卫，给他进贡。

14. And after certain years he went down to Ahab to Samaria. And Ahab killed sheep and oxen for him in abundance, and for the people that he had with him, and persuaded him to go up with him to Ramothgilead.
过了几年，他下到撒马利亚去见亚哈。亚哈为他和跟从他的人宰了许多牛羊，劝他与自己同去攻取基列的拉末。

15. How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.
你寻索言语要到几时呢。你可以揣摩思想，然后我们就说话。

16. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
耶和华是我的岩石，我的山寨，我的救主，我的神，我的磐石，我所投靠的。他是我的盾牌，是拯救我的角，是我的高台。

17. That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled!
差遣使者在水面上，坐蒲草船过海。先知说，你们快行的使者，要到高大光滑的民那里去。自从开国以来那民极其可畏，是分地界践踏人的，他们的地有江河分开。

18. What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge?
你们在以色列地怎吗用这俗语说父亲吃了酸葡萄，儿子的牙酸倒了呢。

19. Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.
你起来，下到窑匠的家里去，我在那里要使你听我的话。

20. And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
耶稣便叫一个小孩子来，使他站在他们当中，

21. Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
说，某城里有一个官，不惧怕神，也不尊重世人。

22. And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples.
卖耶稣的犹大也知道那地方。因为耶稣和门徒屡次上那里去聚集。

23. And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them.
遇见一个犹太人，名叫亚居拉，他生在本都。因为革老丢犹太人都离开罗马，新近带着妻百基拉，从意大利来。保罗就投奔了他们。

24. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
他大声喊着说，巴比伦大城倾倒了，成了鬼魔的住处，和各样污秽之灵的巢穴，（或作牢狱下同）并各样污秽可憎之雀鸟的巢穴。
