1. And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the LORD, which am but dust and ashes:
亚伯拉罕说,我虽然是灰尘,还敢对主说话。

2. And Moses let his father in law depart; and he went his way into his own land.
此后,摩西让他的岳父去,他就往本地去了。

3. (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
(在你们以先居住那地的人行了这一切可憎恶的事,地就玷污了,)

4. And this your heave offering shall be reckoned unto you, as though it were the corn of the threshingfloor, and as the fulness of the winepress.
这举祭要算为你们场上的谷,又如满酒榨的酒。

5. And Rekem, and Irpeel, and Taralah,
利坚,伊利毗勒,他拉拉,

6. And they took the things which Micah had made, and the priest which he had, and came unto Laish, unto a people that were at quiet and secure: and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and burnt the city with fire.
但人将米迦所作的神像和他的祭司都带到拉亿,见安居无虑的民,就用刀杀了那民,又放火烧了那城,

7. Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king's son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife.
大卫和跟随他的人起身前往,杀了二百非利士人,将阳皮满数交给王,为要作王的女婿。于是扫罗将女儿米甲给大卫为妻。

8. And the watchman said, Me thinketh the running of the foremost is like the running of Ahimaaz the son of Zadok. And the king said, He is a good man, and cometh with good tidings.
守望的人说,我看前头人的跑法,好像撒督的儿子亚希玛斯的跑法一样。王说,他是个好人,必是报好信息。

9. And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.
到了正午,以利亚嬉笑他们,说,大声求告吧。因为他是神,他或默想,或走到一边,或行路,或睡觉,你们当叫醒他。

10. But Rabshakeh said unto them, Hath my master sent me to thy master, and to thee, to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men which sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?
拉伯沙基说,我主差遣我来,岂是单对你和你的主说这些话吗。不也是对这些坐在城上,要与你们一同吃自己粪,喝自己尿的人说吗。

11. And Micaiah said, If thou certainly return in peace, then hath not the LORD spoken by me. And he said, Hearken, all ye people.
米该雅说,你若能平安回来,那就是耶和华没有藉我说这话了。又说,众民哪,你们都要听。

12. For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.
困苦的百姓,你必拯救。高傲的眼目,你必使他降卑。

13. Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.
再者,恶人若回头离开所行的恶,行正直与合理的事,他必将性命救活了。

14. Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.
那仆人的主人,就动了慈心,把他释放了,并且免了他的债。

15. And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
耶稣说,在人所不能的事,在神却能。

16. Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew.
彼得又不承认。立时鸡就叫了。

17. And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:
他想要往亚该亚去。弟兄们就勉励他,并写信请门徒接待他。(或作弟兄们就写信劝门徒接待他)他到了那里,多帮助那蒙恩信主的人。
