1. Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.
凡活着的动物，都可以作你们的食物。这一切我都赐给你们，如同菜蔬一样。

2. And when I heard this thing, I rent my garment and my mantle, and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down astonied.
我一听见这事，就撕裂衣服和外袍，拔了头发和胡须，惊惧忧闷而坐。

3. Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain.
耶和华的手加在你田间的牲畜上，就是在马，驴，骆驼，牛群，羊群上，必有重重的瘟疫。

4. And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering;
你也要对以色列人说，你们当取一只公山羊作赎罪祭，又取一只牛犊和一只绵羊羔，都要一岁，没有残疾的，作燔祭，

5. In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall ye keep it.
就是本月十四日黄昏的时候，你们要在所定的日期守这节，要按这节的律例典章而守。

6. Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee.
你今日当知道，耶和华你的神在你前面过去，如同烈火，要灭绝他们，将他们制伏在你面前。这样，你就要照耶和华所说的赶出他们，使他们速速灭亡。

7. And when the inhabitants of Gibeon heard what Joshua had done unto Jericho and to Ai,
基遍的居民听见约书亚向耶利哥和艾城所行的事，

8. And his mother's brethren spake of him in the ears of all the men of Shechem all these words: and their hearts inclined to follow Abimelech; for they said, He is our brother.
他的众母舅便将这一切话为他说给示剑人听，示剑人的心就归向亚比米勒。他们说，他原是我们的弟兄。

9. And the asses of Kish Saul's father were lost. And Kish said to Saul his son, Take now one of the servants with thee, and arise, go seek the asses.
扫罗的父亲基士丢了几头驴，他就吩咐儿子扫罗说，你带一个仆人去寻梢驴。

10. And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.
王说，扫罗家还有人没有。我要照神的慈爱恩待他。洗巴对王说，还有约拿单的一个儿子，是瘸腿的。

11. And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
对他说，你向我所祷告祈求的，我都应允了。我已将你所建的这殿分别为圣，使我的名永远在其中。我的眼，我的心也必常在那里。

12. Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.
将瓶里的膏油倒在他头上，说，耶和华如此说，我膏你作以色列王。说完了，就开门逃跑，不要迟延。

13. And in Jerusalem dwelt of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh;
住在耶路撒冷的有犹大人，便雅悯人，以法莲人，玛拿西人。

14. And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built,
示巴女王见所罗门的智慧和他所建造的宫室，

15. And they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of the LORD their God one fourth part of the day; and another fourth part they confessed, and worshipped the LORD their God.
那日的四分之一，站在自己的地方，念耶和华他们神的律法书，又四分之一认罪，敬拜耶和华他们的神。

16. And all the rulers of the provinces, and the lieutenants, and the deputies, and officers of the king, helped the Jews; because the fear of Mordecai fell upon them.
各省的首领，总督，省长，和办理王事的人，因惧怕末底改，就都帮助犹大人。

17. If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.
若愿意与他争辩，千中之一也不能回答。

18. When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.
我的仇敌转身退去的时候，他们一见你的面，就跌倒灭亡。

19. She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city,
打发使女出去，自己在城中至高处呼叫，

20. This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.
在日光之下所行的一切事上，有一件祸患，就是众人所遭遇的，都是一样。并且世人的心，充满了恶。活着的时候心里狂妄，后来就归死人那里去了。

21. Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
你使这国民繁多，加增他们的喜乐。他们在你面前欢喜，好像收割的欢喜，像人分掳物那样的快乐。

22. And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD.
他们弯起舌头像弓一样，为要说谎话。他们在国中增长势力，不是为行诚实，乃是恶上加恶，并不认识我。这是耶和华说的。

23. And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side;
以色列神的荣耀本在基路伯上，现今从那里升到殿的门槛。神将那身穿细麻衣，腰间带着墨盒子的人召来。

24. And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:
我便禁食，披麻蒙灰，定意向主神祈祷恳求。

25. They shall not dwell in the LORD's land; but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean things in Assyria.
他们必不得住耶和华的地，以法莲却要归回埃及，必在亚述吃不洁净的食物。

26. And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:
虽然藏在迦密山顶，我必搜寻，捉出他们来。虽然从我眼前藏在海底，我必命蛇咬他们。

27. And Tyrus did build herself a strong hold, and heaped up silver as the dust, and fine gold as the mire of the streets.
推罗为自己修筑保障，积蓄银子如尘沙，堆起精金如街上的泥土。

28. And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
有几个文士心里说，这个人说僭妄的话了。

29. And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.
衣服放光，极其洁白。地上漂布的，没有一个能漂得那样白。

30. And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.
对他们说，行路的时候，不要带拐杖，和口袋，不要带食物，和银子，也不要带两件褂子。

31. Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
耶稣回答说，也不是这人犯了罪，也不是他父母犯了罪，是要在他身上显出神的作为来。

32. And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
扫罗行路，将到大马士革，忽然从天上发光，四面照着他。

33. For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:
为我弟兄，我骨肉之亲，就是自己被咒诅，与基督分离，我也愿意。

34. Mine answer to them that do examine me is this,
我对那磐问我的人，就是这样分诉。

35. Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready:
但我打发那几位弟兄去，要叫你们照我的话豫备妥当。免得我们在这事上夸奖你们的话落了空。

36. And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;
第二幔子后，又有一层帐幕，叫作至圣所。

37. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
有蝗虫从烟中出来飞到地上。有能力赐给他们，好像地上蝎子的能力一样。
