1. And he took the people, and divided them into three companies, and laid wait in the field, and looked, and, behold, the people were come forth out of the city; and he rose up against them, and smote them.
他就把他的人分作三队，埋伏在田间，看见示剑人从城里出来，就起来击杀他们。

2. And Moza begat Binea; and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
摩撒生比尼亚。比尼亚生利法雅。利法雅的儿子是以利亚萨。以利亚萨的儿子是亚悉。

3. And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
倘若你一只手叫你跌倒，就把他砍下来。

4. And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples,
众人都诧异神的大能。大能或作威荣耶稣所作的一切事，众人正希奇的时候，耶稣对门徒说，

5. And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.
此后彼得在约帕一个硝皮匠西门的家里，住了多日。
