1. And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
第二道河名叫基训，就是环绕古实全地的。

2. And when he went out the second day, behold, two men of the Hebrews strove together: and he said to him that did the wrong, Wherefore smitest thou thy fellow?
第二天他出去，见有两个希伯来人争斗，就对那欺负人的说，你为什么打你同族的人呢。

3. And every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.
凡献为素祭的供物都要用盐调和，在素祭上不可缺了你神立约的盐。一切的供物都要配盐而献。

4. And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.
他军队被数的，共有五万九千三百名。

5. Now rise up, said I, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.
现在，起来过撒烈溪。于是我们过了撒烈溪。

6. And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death.
要救活我的父母，弟兄，姊妹，和一切属他们的，拯救我们性命不死。

7. And they forsook the LORD, and served Baal and Ashtaroth.
并离弃耶和华，去事奉巴力和亚斯她录。

8. Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens.
路得说，我主阿，愿在你眼前蒙恩。我虽然不及你的一个使女，你还用慈爱的话安慰我的心。

9. And the priests' custom with the people was, that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priest's servant came, while the flesh was in seething, with a fleshhook of three teeth in his hand;
这二祭司待百姓是这样的规矩，凡有人献祭，正煮肉的时候，祭司的仆人就来，手拿三齿的叉子，

10. And Joab the son of Zeruiah, and the servants of David, went out, and met together by the pool of Gibeon: and they sat down, the one on the one side of the pool, and the other on the other side of the pool.
洗鲁雅的儿子约押和大卫的仆人也出来，在基遍池旁与他们相遇。一班坐在池这边，一班坐在池那边。

11. And Adonijah the son of Haggith came to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon. And she said, Comest thou peaceably? And he said, Peaceably.
哈及的儿子亚多尼雅去见所罗门的母亲拔示巴，拔示巴问他说，你来是为平安吗。回答说，是为平安。

12. He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;
他拾起以利亚身上掉下来的外衣，回去站在约旦河边。

13. And Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,
耶西生长子以利押，次子亚比拿达，三子示米亚（示米亚即沙玛，见撒母耳上十六章九节），

14. And now I have sent a cunning man, endued with understanding, of Huram my father's,
现在我打发一个精巧有聪明的人去，他是我父亲希兰所用的，

15. The children of Adonikam, six hundred sixty and six.
亚多尼干的子孙六百六十六名；

16. And I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates thereof were consumed with fire.
当夜我出了谷门，往野狗井去（野狗或作龙），到了粪厂门，察看耶路撒冷的城墙，见城墙拆毁，城门被火焚烧。

17. Then thus came every maiden unto the king; whatsoever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women unto the king's house.
女子进去见王是这样。从女院到王宫的时候，凡她所要的都必给她。

18. So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.
他们就同他七天七夜坐在地上，一个人也不向他说句话，因为他极其痛苦。

19. Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
那等人舍弃正直的路，行走黑暗的道，

20. Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly, as far as light excelleth darkness.
我便看出智慧胜过愚昧，如同光明胜过黑暗。

21. The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
无花果树的果子渐渐成熟，葡萄树开花放香。我的佳偶，我的美人，起来，与我同去。

22. And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,
又临到黎巴嫩高大的香柏树，和巴珊的橡树。

23. (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
（原来在神面前，不是听律法的为义，乃是行律法的称义。

24. For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.
因为我的百姓作了两件恶事，就是离弃我这活水的泉源，为自己凿出池子，是破裂不能存水的池子。

25. What thing shall I take to witness for thee? what thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? what shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion? for thy breach is great like the sea: who can heal thee?
耶路撒冷的民哪，我可用什么向你证明呢。我可用什么与你相比呢。锡安的民哪，我可拿什么和你比较，好安慰你呢。因为你的裂口大如海，谁能医治你呢。

26. And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain.
于是命令发出，哲士将要见杀，人就寻梢但以理和他的同伴，要杀他们。

27. And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith the LORD.
我必追讨她素日给诸巴力烧香的罪，那时她佩带耳环，和别样妆饰，随从她所爱的，却忘记我。这是耶和华说的。

28. And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
你们要撕裂心肠，不撕裂衣服。归向耶和华你们的神。因为他有恩典。有怜悯，不轻易发怒，有丰盛的慈爱，并且后悔不降所说的灾。

29. Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.
看哪，在你们所住之地，我必压你们，如同装满禾捆的车压物一样。

30. The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.
开路的（或作破城的）在他们前面上去。他们直闯过城门，从城门出去。他们的王在前面行，耶和华引导他们。

31. Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.
万军之耶和华说，我与你为敌，必将你的车辆焚烧成烟，刀剑也必吞灭你的少壮狮子。我必从地上除灭你所撕碎的，你使者的声音必不再听见。

32. Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?
众民所劳碌得来的被火焚烧，列国由劳乏而得的，归于虚空，不都是出于万军之耶和华吗。

33. And he will stretch out his hand against the north, and destroy Assyria; and will make Nineveh a desolation, and dry like a wilderness.
耶和华必伸手攻击北方，毁灭亚述，使尼尼微荒凉，又乾旱如旷野。

34. Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.
哈该又说，若有人因摸死尸染了污秽，然后挨着这些物的那一样，这物算污秽吗。祭司说，必算污秽。

35. Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.
凡有血气的，都当在耶和华面前静默无声。因为他兴起，从圣所出来了。

36. And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.
你们又行了一件这样的事，使前妻叹息哭泣的眼泪，遮盖耶和华的坛，以致耶和华不再看顾那供物，也不乐意从你们手中收纳。

37. And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
他们去后，有主的使者向约瑟梦中显现，说，起来，带着小孩子同他母亲，逃往埃及，住在那里，等我吩咐你。因为希律必寻梢小孩子要除灭他。

38. And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them.
耶稣又出到海边去，众人都就了他来，他便教训他们。

39. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
忽然有一大队天兵，同那天使赞美神说，

40. And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
犹太人的逾越节近了，耶稣就上耶路撒冷去。

41. Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
还有人讥诮说，他们无非是新酒灌满了。

42. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
并且我们讲说这些事，不是用人智慧所指教的言语，乃是用圣灵所指教的言语，将属灵的话，解释属灵的事。（或作将属灵的事讲与属灵的人）

43. I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia.
那时因为没有遇见兄弟提多，我心里不安，便辞别那里的人往马其顿去了。

44. And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
其馀的犹太人，也都随着他装假。甚至连巴拿巴也随夥装假。

45. But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
你们从前远离神的人，如今却在基督耶稣里，靠着他的血，已经得亲近了。

46. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
因为你们立志行事，都是神在你们心里运行，为要成就他的美意。

47. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
你们从前在过犯，和未受割礼的肉体中死了，神赦免了你们（或作我们）一切过犯，便叫你们与基督一同活过来。

48. For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
为此，我们也不住的感谢神，因你们听见我们所传神的道，就领受了，不以为是人的道，乃以为是神的道。这道实在是神的，并且运行在你们信主的人心中。

49. But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
主所爱的弟兄哪，我们本该常为你们感谢神。因为他从起初拣选了你们，叫你们因信真道，又被圣灵感动，成为圣洁，能以得救。

50. For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
因为先造的是亚当，后造的是夏娃。

51. If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
我们纵然失信，他仍是可信的。因为他不能背乎自己。

52. Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
等候所盼望的福，并等候至大的神，和（或作无和字）我们救主耶稣基督的荣耀显现。

53. And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
又说，我要倚赖他。又说，看哪，我与神所给我的儿女。

54. For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
因为那不怜悯人的，也要受无怜悯的审判。怜悯原是向审判夸胜。

55. Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
你们为主的缘故，要顺服人的一切制度，或是在上的君王，

56. And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
行的不义，就得了不义的工价。这些人喜爱白昼宴乐，他们已被玷污，又有瑕疵，正与你们一同坐席，就以自己的诡诈为快乐。

57. I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
父老阿，我写信给你们，因为你们认识那从起初原有的。少年人哪，我写信给你们，因为你们胜了那恶者。小子们哪，我曾写信给你们，因为你们认识父。

58. I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
我知道你的居所，就是有撒但座位之处。当我忠心的见证人安提帕在你们中间，撒但所住的地方被杀之时，你还坚守我的名，没有弃绝我的道。
