1. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
耶和华神用土所造成的野地各样走兽和空中各样飞鸟都带到那人面前,看他叫什么。那人怎样叫各样的活物,那就饲它的名字。

2. And they said, An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, and also drew water enough for us, and watered the flock.
她们说,有一个埃及人救我们脱离牧羊人的手,并且为我们打水饮了群羊。

3. And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty thousand and five hundred.
他军队被数的,共有四万零五百名。

4. And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.
走近亚扪人之地,不可扰害他们,也不可与他们争战。亚扪人的地,我不赐给你们为业,因我已将那地赐给罗得的子孙为业。

5. And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him.
凡出了你家门往街上去的,他的罪(罪原文作血)必归到自己的头上,与我们无干了。凡在你家里的,若有人下手害他,流他血的罪就归到我们的头上。

6. And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way.
及至士师死后,他们就转去行恶,比他们列祖更甚,去事奉叩拜别神,总不断绝顽梗的恶行。

7. And her mother in law said unto her, Where hast thou gleaned to day? and where wroughtest thou? blessed be he that did take knowledge of thee. And she shewed her mother in law with whom she had wrought, and said, The man's name with whom I wrought to day is Boaz.
婆婆问她说,你今日在哪里拾取麦穗,在哪里做工呢,愿那顾恤你的得福。路得就告诉婆婆说,我今日在一个名叫波阿斯的人那里做工。

8. Moreover his mother made him a little coat, and brought it to him from year to year, when she came up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice.
他母亲每年为他作一件小外袍,同着丈夫上来献年祭的时候带来给他。

9. And Asahel pursued after Abner; and in going he turned not to the right hand nor to the left from following Abner.
亚撒黑追赶押尼珥,直追赶他不偏左右。

10. Bathsheba therefore went unto king Solomon, to speak unto him for Adonijah. And the king rose up to meet her, and bowed himself unto her, and sat down on his throne, and caused a seat to be set for the king's mother; and she sat on his right hand.
于是,拔示巴去见所罗门王,要为亚多尼雅提说。王起来迎接,向她下拜,就坐在位上,吩咐人为王母设一座位,她便坐在王的右边。

11. And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water is naught, and the ground barren.
耶利哥城的人对以利沙说,这城的地势美好,我主看见了。只是水恶劣,土产不熟而落。

12. And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.
阿苏巴死了,迦勒又娶以法她,生了户珥。

13. The children of Hashum, two hundred twenty and three.
哈顺的子孙二百二十三名。

14. But when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard it, they laughed us to scorn, and despised us, and said, What is this thing that ye do? will ye rebel against the king?
但和伦人叁巴拉,并为奴的亚扪人多比雅,和阿拉伯人基善,听见就嗤笑我们,藐视我们,说,你们做什么呢。要背叛王吗。

15. And when the virgins were gathered together the second time, then Mordecai sat in the king's gate.
第二次招聚处女的时候,末底改坐在朝门。

16. None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.
凡到他那里去的不得转回,也得不着生命的路。

17. And who knoweth whether he shall be a wise man or a fool? yet shall he have rule over all my labour wherein I have laboured, and wherein I have shewed myself wise under the sun. This is also vanity.
那人是智慧,是愚昧,谁能知道。他竟要管理我劳碌所得的,就是我在日光之下用智慧所得的。这也是虚空。

18. And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
耶和华兴起使地大震动的时候,人就进入石洞,进入土穴,躲避耶和华的惊吓,和他威严的荣光。

19. And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,
又深信自己是给瞎子领路的,是黑暗中人的光,

20. Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
你自己的恶必惩治你。你背道的事必责备你。由此可知可见,你离弃耶和华你的神,不存敬畏我的心,乃为恶事,为苦事。这是主万军之耶和华说的。

21. Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the LORD: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street.
夜间,每逢交更的时候要起来呼喊,在主面前倾心如水。你的孩童在各市口上受饿发昏。你要为他们的性命向主举手祷告。

22. Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.
这奥秘的事就在夜间异象中给但以理显明,但以理便称颂天上的神。

23. And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.
我必聘你永远归我为妻,以仁义,公平,慈爱,怜悯聘你归我。

24. Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
耶和华应允他的百姓,说,我必赐给你们五谷,新酒,和油,使你们饱足。我也不再使你们受列国的羞辱。

25. Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.
对木偶说,醒起,对哑巴石像说,起来,那人有祸了。这个还能教训人吗。看哪,是包裹金银的,其中毫无气息。

26. Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.
仓里有谷种吗。葡萄树,无花果树,石榴树,橄榄树都没有结果子。从今日起,我必赐福与你们。

27. But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,
希律死了以后,有主的使者,在埃及向约瑟梦中显现,说,

28. And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
耶稣对他们说,新郎和陪伴之人同在的时候,倍伴之人岂能禁食呢。新郎还同在,他们不能禁食。

29. But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.
马利亚却把这一切事存在心里,反复思想。

30. Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
耶稣回答说,你们拆毁这殿,我三日内要再建立起来。

31. And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
在天上我要显出奇事,在地下我要显出神迹,有血,有火,有烟雾。

32. For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
我因律法就向律法死了,叫我可以向神活着。

33. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
这样,你们不再作外人,和客旅,是与圣徒同国,是神家里的人了。

34. But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.
我靠主耶稣指望快打发提摩太去见你们,叫我知道你们的事,心里就得着安慰。

35. And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
不持定元首,全身既然靠着他筋节得以相助联络,就因神大得长进。

36. For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?
我们的盼望和喜乐,并所夸的冠冕,是什么呢。岂不是我们主耶稣来的时候你们在他面前删立得住吗。

37. Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
然而神坚固的根基立住了。上面有这印记说,主认识谁是他的人。又说,凡称呼主名的人,总要离开不义。

38. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
你信神只有一位,你信的不错。鬼魔也信,却是战兢。

39. For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
倘若人为叫良心对得住神,就忍受冤屈的苦楚,这是可喜爱的。

40. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
他们应许人得以自由,自己却作败坏的奴仆。因为人被谁制伏就是谁的奴仆。

41. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
他们从我们中间出去,却不是属我们的。若是属我们的,就必仍旧与我们同在。他们出去,显明都不是属我们的。

42. I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
我知道你的行为,爱心,信心,勤劳,忍耐。又知道你末后所行的善事,比起初所行的更多。
