1. And he sent messengers throughout all Manasseh; who also was gathered after him: and he sent messengers unto Asher, and unto Zebulun, and unto Naphtali; and they came up to meet them.
他打发人走遍玛拿西地，玛拿西人也聚集跟随他。又打发人去见亚设人，西布伦人，拿弗他利人，他们也都出来与他们会合。

2. And he carved thereon cherubims and palm trees and open flowers: and covered them with gold fitted upon the carved work.
上面刻着基路伯，棕树，和初开的花，都用金子贴了。

3. The son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,
陀亚是苏弗的儿子。苏弗是以利加拿的儿子。以利加拿是玛哈的儿子。玛哈是亚玛赛的儿子。

4. Then hear thou from the heavens their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.
求你从天上垂听他们的祷告祈求，使他们得胜。

5. He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts.
什吗赎价，他都不顾。你虽送许多礼物，他也不肯干休。

6. And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed:
天已经晚了，门徒进前来说，这是野地，天已经晚了，

7. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
你们倒要爱仇敌，也要善待他们，并要借给人不指望偿还。你们的赏赐就必大了，你们也必作至高者的儿子。因为他恩待那忘恩的和作恶的。

8. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
耶稣说，我就是生命的粮。到我这里来的，必定不饿。信我的，永远不渴。
