1. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
挪亚的后代记在下面。挪亚是个义人,在当时的世代是个完全人。挪亚与神同行。

2. And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.
摩西将这话告诉以色列人,只是他们因苦工愁烦,不肯听他的话。

3. Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.
你要吩咐亚伦和他的子孙说,燔祭的条例乃是这样,燔祭要放在坛的柴上,从晚上到天亮,坛上的火要常常烧着。

4. And if any man die very suddenly by him, and he hath defiled the head of his consecration; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it.
若在他旁边忽然有人死了,以致沾染了他离俗的头,他要在第七日,得洁净的时候,剃头。

5. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.
又要写在你房屋的门框上,并你的城门上。

6. And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.
带兵器的走在吹角的祭司前面,后队随着约柜行。祭司一面走一面吹。

7. And I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all that oppressed you, and drave them out from before you, and gave you their land;
救你们脱离埃及人的手,并脱离一切欺压你们之人的手,把他们从你们面前赶出,将他们的地赐给你们。

8. And see, if it goeth up by the way of his own coast to Bethshemesh, then he hath done us this great evil: but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that smote us: it was a chance that happened to us.
你们要看看,车若直行以色列的境界到伯示麦去,这大灾就是耶和华降在我们身上的。若不然,便可以知道不是他的手击打我们,是我们偶然遇见的。

9. And David was afraid of the LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me?
那日,大卫惧怕耶和华,说,耶和华的约柜怎可运到我这里来。

10. So he built the house, and finished it; and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar.
所罗门建殿,安置香柏木的楝梁,又用香柏木板遮盖。

11. And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the Syrians are come down.
神人打发人去见以色列王,说,你要谨慎,不要从某处经过,因为亚兰人从那里下来了。

12. And Ahimaaz begat Azariah, and Azariah begat Johanan,
亚希玛斯生亚撒利雅。亚撒利雅生约哈难。

13. Notwithstanding thou shalt not build the house; but thy son which shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house for my name.
只是你不可建殿,惟你所生的儿子必为我名建殿。

14. And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests which are at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail:
他们与天上的神献燔祭所需用的公牛犊,公绵羊,绵羊羔,并所用的麦子,盐,酒,油,都要照耶路撒冷祭司的话,每日供给他们,不得有误。

15. For they all made us afraid, saying, Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands.
他们都要使我们惧怕,意思说,他们的手必软弱,以致工作不能成就。神阿,求你坚固我的手。

16. And let this apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes, that they may array the man withal whom the king delighteth to honour, and bring him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaim before him, Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delighteth to honour.
都交给王极尊贵的一个大臣,命他将衣服给王所喜悦尊荣的人穿上,使他骑上马,走遍城里的街市,在他面前宣告说,王所喜悦尊荣的人,就如此待他。

17. Even that it would please God to destroy me; that he would let loose his hand, and cut me off!
就是愿神把我压碎,伸手将我剪除。

18. The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.
耶和华听了我的恳求。耶和华必收纳我的祷告。

19. How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
懒惰人哪,你要睡到几时呢。你何时睡醒呢。

20. Better is the sight of the eyes than the wandering of the desire: this is also vanity and vexation of spirit.
眼睛所看的,比心里妄想的倒好。这也是虚空,也是捕风。

21. My dove, my undefiled is but one; she is the only one of her mother, she is the choice one of her that bare her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her; yea, the queens and the concubines, and they praised her.
我的鸽子,我的完全人,只有这一个是她母亲独生的。是生养她者所宝爱的。众女子见了,就称她有福。王后妃嫔见了,也赞美她。

22. And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
他说,你去告诉这百姓说,你们听是要听见,却不明白。看是要看见,却不晓得。

23. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall throughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine: turn back thine hand as a grapegatherer into the baskets.
万军之耶和华曾如此说,敌人必掳尽以色列剩下的民,如同摘净葡萄一样。你要像摘葡萄的人摘了又摘,回手放在筐子里。

24. And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
那脱离刀剑的人必在所掳到的各国中记念我,为他们心中何等伤破,是因他们起淫心,远离我,眼对偶像行邪淫。他们因行一切可憎的恶事,必厌恶自己。

25. Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree.
于是大流士王立这禁令,加盖玉玺。

26. And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness.
强盗成群,怎样埋伏杀人。祭司结党,也照样在示剑的路上杀戮,行了邪恶。

27. And it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men in one house, that they shall die.
那时,若在一房之内剩下十个人,也都必死。

28. The LORD's voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.
耶和华向这城呼叫,智慧人必敬畏他的名。你们当听是谁派定刑杖的惩罚。

29. And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
耶和华的话临到我说,

30. After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
所以你们祷告,要这样说,我们在天上的父,愿人都尊你的名为圣。

31. But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.
只要穿鞋。也不要穿两件挂子。

32. Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
耶稣对他们说,我问你们,在安息日行善行恶,救命害命,那样是可以的呢。

33. There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?
在这里有一个孩童,带着五个大麦饼,两条鱼。只是分给这许多人,还算什么呢。

34. Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.
当时有称利百地拿会堂的几个人,并有古利奈,亚力山太,基利家,亚细亚,各处会堂的几个人,都起来,和司提反辩论。

35. Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
因为知道基督既从死里复活,就不再死,死也不再作他的主了。

36. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
你们岂不知不义的人不能承受神的国吗。不要自欺。无论是淫乱的,拜偶像的,奸淫的,作娈童的,亲男色的,

37. As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
似乎不为人所知,却是人所共知的。似乎要死却是活着的。似乎受责罚,却是不至丧命的。

38. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
我们行善,不可丧志。若不灰心,到了时候,就要收成。

39. And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.
你们作主人的待仆人,也是一理,不要威吓他们。因为知道他们和你们,同有一位主在天上,他并不偏待人。

40. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
但那些想发财的人,就陷在迷惑,落在网罗,和许多无知有害的私欲里,叫人沉在败坏和灭亡中。

41. But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
亲爱的弟兄们,我们虽是这样说,却深信你们的行为强过这些,而且近乎得救。

42. And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
揭开第五印的时候,我看见在祭坛底下,有为神的道,并为作见证,被杀之人的灵魂。
