1. And it came to pass, when God caused me to wander from my father's house, that I said unto her, This is thy kindness which thou shalt shew unto me; at every place whither we shall come, say of me, He is my brother.

3. If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
人若与男人苟合，像与女人一样，他们二人行了可憎的事，总要把他们治死，罪要归到他们身上。

4. This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the LORD, and he was sanctified in them.
这水名叫米利巴水（米利巴就是争闹的意思），是因以色列人向耶和华争闹，耶和华就在他们面前显为圣。

5. And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:
耶和华你的神把城交付你手，你就要用刀杀尽这城的男丁。

6. Now therefore deliver us the men, the children of Belial, which are in Gibeah, that we may put them to death, and put away evil from Israel. But the children of Benjamin would not hearken to the voice of their brethren the children of Israel:
现在你们要将基比亚的那些匪徒交出来，我们好治死他们，从以色列中除掉这恶。便雅悯人却不肯听从他们弟兄以色列人的话。

7. The LORD do so and much more to Jonathan: but if it please my father to do thee evil, then I will shew it thee, and send thee away, that thou mayest go in peace: and the LORD be with thee, as he hath been with my father.
我父亲若有意害你，我不告诉你使你平平安安地走，愿耶和华重重地降罚与我。愿耶和华与你同在，如同从前与我父亲同在一样。

8. When he was removed out of the highway, all the people went on after Joab, to pursue after Sheba the son of Bichri.
尸身从路上挪移之后，众民就都跟随约押去追赶比基利的儿子示巴。

9. And, behold, there came a prophet unto Ahab king of Israel, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou seen all this great multitude? behold, I will deliver it into thine hand this day; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
有一个先知来见以色列王亚哈，说，耶和华如此说，这一大群人你看见了吗。今日我必将他们交在你手里，你就知道我是耶和华。

10. And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.
希西家听从使者的话，就把他宝库的金子，银子，香料，贵重的膏油，和他武库的一切军器，并他所有的财宝，都给他们看。他家中和他全国之内，希西家没有一样不给他们看的。

11. And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.
犹大众人和他们的婴孩，妻子，儿女都站在耶和华面前。

12. Though he spare it, and forsake it not; but keep it still within his mouth:
爱恋不舍，含在口中。

13. Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; open thine eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied with bread.
不要贪睡，免致贫穷。眼要睁开，你就吃饱。

14. Sing unto the LORD, praise ye the LORD: for he hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.
你们要向耶和华唱歌。赞美耶和华。因他救了穷人的性命脱离恶人的手。

15. But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.
以色列家却在旷野悖逆我，不顺从我的律例，厌弃我的典章（人若遵行就必因此活着），大大干犯我的安息日。我就说，要在旷野将我的忿怒倾在他们身上，灭绝他们。

16. But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
家主回答其中的一人说，朋友，我不亏负你。你与我讲定的，不是一钱银子吗。

17. Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.
园主说，我怎吗办呢。我要打发我的爱子去。或者他们尊敬他。

18. And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my LORD, and I know not where they have laid him.
天使对他说，妇人，你为什么哭。他说，因为有人把我主挪了去，我不知道放在那里。

19. And we went before to ship, and sailed unto Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, minding himself to go afoot.
我们先上船开往亚朔去，意思要在那里接保罗。因为他是这样安排的，他自己打算要步行。

20. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
于是海交出其中的死人。死亡和阴间也交出其中的死人。他们都照各人所行的受审判。
