1. And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.
摩西对百姓说，不要惧怕，因为神降临是要试验你们，叫你们时常敬畏他，不致犯罪。

2. And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.
人若与伯叔之妻同房，就羞辱了他的伯叔，二人要担当自己的罪，必无子女而死。

3. And he said, Thou shalt not go through. And Edom came out against him with much people, and with a strong hand.
以东王说，你们不可经过。就率领许多人出来，要用强硬的手攻击以色列人。

4. Only the trees which thou knowest that they be not trees for meat, thou shalt destroy and cut them down; and thou shalt build bulwarks against the city that maketh war with thee, until it be subdued.
惟独你所知道不是结果子的树木可以毁坏，砍伐，用以修筑营垒，攻击那与你打仗的城，直到攻塌了。

5. And the men of Israel went out to battle against Benjamin; and the men of Israel put themselves in array to fight against them at Gibeah.
以色列人出来，要与便雅悯人打仗，就在基比亚前摆阵。

6. And I will shoot three arrows on the side thereof, as though I shot at a mark.
我要向磐石旁边射三箭，如同射箭靶一样。

7. And Joab answered and said, Far be it, far be it from me, that I should swallow up or destroy.
约押回答说，我决不吞灭毁坏，

8. And they slew every one his man: and the Syrians fled; and Israel pursued them: and Benhadad the king of Syria escaped on an horse with the horsemen.
各人遇见敌人就杀。亚兰人逃跑，以色列人追赶他们。亚兰王便哈达骑着马和马兵一同逃跑。

9. And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
希西家其馀的事和他的勇力，他怎样挖池，挖沟，引水入城，都写在犹大列王记上。

10. And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
次日清早，众人起来往提哥亚的旷野去。出去的时候，约沙法站着说，犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，要听我说，信耶和华你们的神就必立稳。信他的先知就必亨通。

11. Surely he shall not feel quietness in his belly, he shall not save of that which he desired.
他因贪而无厌，所喜悦的连一样也不能保守。

12. Whoso curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness.
咒骂父母的，他的灯必灭，变为漆黑的黑暗。

13. And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.
且以我的安息日为圣。这日在我与你们中间为证据，使你们知道我是耶和华你们的神。

14. Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.
那时，西庇太儿子的母亲，同他两个儿子前来，拜耶稣求他一件事。

15. And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.
于是窥探耶稣，打发奸细装作好人，要在他的话上得把柄，好将他交在巡抚的政权之下。

16. And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the LORD.
说了这话，就把手和肋旁，指给他们看。门徒看见主，就喜乐了。

17. And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,
你们也知道，凡与你们有益的，我没有一样避讳不说的。或在众人面前，或在各人家里，我都教导你们。
