1. And the LORD smote Benjamin before Israel: and the children of Israel destroyed of the Benjamites that day twenty and five thousand and an hundred men: all these drew the sword.
耶和华使以色列人杀败便雅悯人。那日，以色列人杀死便雅悯人二万五千一百，都是拿刀的。

2. And it came to pass in the morning, that Jonathan went out into the field at the time appointed with David, and a little lad with him.
次日早晨，约拿单按着与大卫约会的时候出到田野，有一个童子跟随。

3. And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said unto his neighbour in the word of the LORD, Smite me, I pray thee. And the man refused to smite him.
有先知的一个门徒奉耶和华的命对他的同伴说，你打我吧。那人不肯打他。

4. And after this did Jehoshaphat king of Judah join himself with Ahaziah king of Israel, who did very wickedly:
此后，犹大王约沙法与以色列王亚哈谢交好。亚哈谢行恶太甚。

5. And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face.
我必带你们到外邦人的旷野，在那里当面刑罚你们。

6. But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
惟有算为配得那世界，与从死里复活的人，也不娶也不嫁。

7. I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
我凡事给你们作榜样，叫你们知道，应当这样劳苦，扶助软弱的人，又当记念主耶稣的话，说，施比受更为有福。
