1. And all the men of Israel rose up out of their place, and put themselves in array at Baaltamar: and the liers in wait of Israel came forth out of their places, even out of the meadows of Gibeah.
以色列众人都起来，在巴力他玛摆阵，以色列的伏兵从马利迦巴埋伏的地方冲上前去。

2. And Saul cast a javelin at him to smite him: whereby Jonathan knew that it was determined of his father to slay David.
扫罗向约拿单抡枪要刺他，约拿单就知道他父亲决意要杀大卫。

3. Now the men did diligently observe whether any thing would come from him, and did hastily catch it: and they said, Thy brother Benhadad. Then he said, Go ye, bring him. Then Benhadad came forth to him; and he caused him to come up into the chariot.
这些人留心探出他的口气来，便急忙就着他的话说，便哈达是王的兄弟。王说，你们去请他来。便哈达出来见王，王就请他上车。

4. Howbeit the high places were not taken away: for as yet the people had not prepared their hearts unto the God of their fathers.
只是邱坛还没有废去，百姓也没有立定心意归向他们列祖的神。

5. As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:
主耶和华说，我指着我的永生起誓，我总要作王，用大能的手和伸出来的膀臂，并倾出来的忿怒，治理你们。

6. They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
他们说，主阿，要我们的眼睛能看见。

7. Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.
这样当复活的时候，他是那一个的妻子呢。因为他们七个人都娶过他。

8. I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
我未曾贪图一个人的金，银，衣服。
