1. But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife.
但夜间神来在梦中对亚比米勒说,你是个死人哪,因为你取了那女人来。她原是别人的妻子。

2. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
除了我以外,你不可有别的神。

3. And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
我也要向那人变脸,把他从民中剪除,因为他把儿女献给摩洛,玷污我的圣所,亵渎我的圣名。

4. And the people chode with Moses, and spake, saying, Would God that we had died when our brethren died before the LORD!
百姓向摩西争闹说,我们的弟兄曾死在耶和华面前,我们恨不得与他们同死。

5. And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;
说,以色列人哪,你们当听,你们今日将要与仇敌争战,不要胆怯,不要惧怕战兢,也不要因他们惊恐。

6. That the slayer that killeth any person unawares and unwittingly may flee thither: and they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood.
使那无心而误杀人的,可以逃到那里。这些城可以作你们逃避报血仇人的地方。

7. (Now the children of Benjamin heard that the children of Israel were gone up to Mizpeh.) Then said the children of Israel, Tell us, how was this wickedness?
以色列人上到米斯巴,便雅悯人都听见了。以色列人说,请你将这件恶事的情由对我们说明。

8. And David sware moreover, and said, Thy father certainly knoweth that I have found grace in thine eyes; and he saith, Let not Jonathan know this, lest he be grieved: but truly as the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, there is but a step between me and death.
大卫又起誓说,你父亲准知我在你眼前蒙恩。他心里说,不如不叫约拿单知道,恐怕他愁烦。我指着永生的耶和华,又敢在你面前起誓,我离死不过一步。

9. And David came to his house at Jerusalem; and the king took the ten women his concubines, whom he had left to keep the house, and put them in ward, and fed them, but went not in unto them. So they were shut up unto the day of their death, living in widowhood.
大卫王来到耶路撒冷,进了宫殿,就把从前留下看守宫殿的十个妃嫔禁闭在冷宫,养活她们,不与她们亲近。她们如同寡妇被禁,直到死的日子。

10. Thy silver and thy gold is mine; thy wives also and thy children, even the goodliest, are mine.
你的金银都要归我,你妻子儿女中最美的也要归我。

11. I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
耶和华阿,求你记念我在你面前怎样存完全的心,按诚实行事,又作你眼中所看为善的。希西家就痛哭了。

12. And he brought out the people that were in it, and cut them with saws, and with harrows of iron, and with axes. Even so dealt David with all the cities of the children of Ammon. And David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.
将城里的人拉出来,放在锯下,或铁耙下,或铁斧下(或作强他们用锯,或用打粮食的铁器,或用铁斧作工),大卫待亚扪各城的居民都是如此。其后大卫和众军都回耶路撒冷去了。

13. And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.
约沙法便惧怕,定意寻求耶和华,在犹大全地宣告禁食。

14. I have heard the check of my reproach, and the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer.
我已听见那羞辱我,责备我的话。我的悟性叫我回答。

15. Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
记念你的一切供献,悦纳你的燔祭。(细拉)

16. It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.
远离分争,是人的尊荣。愚妄人都爱争闹。

17. And the LORD said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia;
耶和华说,我仆人以赛亚怎样露身赤脚行走三年,作为关乎埃及和古实的豫兆奇迹。

18. And it came to pass on the morrow, that Pashur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, The LORD hath not called thy name Pashur, but Magormissabib.
次日,巴施户珥将耶利米开枷释放。于是耶利米对他说,耶和华不是叫你的名为巴施户珥,乃是叫你玛歌珥米撒毕(就是四面惊吓的意思)。

19. Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to enquire of me? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you.
人子阿,你要告诉以色列的长老说,主耶和华如此说,你们来是求问我吗。主耶和华说,我指着我的永生起誓,我必不被你们求问。

20. And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
约在巳初出去,看见市上还有闲站的人。

21. And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me:
耶稣回答说,我也要问你们一句话。你们且告诉我。

22. Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.
彼得和那门徒就出来,往坟墓那里去。

23. And there abode three months. And when the Jews laid wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he purposed to return through Macedonia.
在那里住了三个月,将要坐船往叙利亚去。犹太人设计要害他,他就定意从马其顿回去。

24. And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
扔在无底坑里,将无底坑关闭,用印封上,使他不得再迷惑列国,等到那一千年完了。以后必须暂时释放他。
