1. Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.
你上我的坛，不可用台阶，免得露出你的下体来。

2. And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
你们要归我为圣，因为我耶和华是圣的，并叫你们与万民有分别，使你们作我的民。

3. And strip Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son: and Aaron shall be gathered unto his people, and shall die there.
把亚伦的圣衣脱下来，给他的儿子以利亚撒穿上。亚伦必死在那里，归他列祖。

4. Then all the children of Israel, and all the people, went up, and came unto the house of God, and wept, and sat there before the LORD, and fasted that day until even, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.
以色列众人就上到伯特利，坐在耶和华面前哭号，当日禁食直到晚上。又在耶和华面前献燔祭和平安祭。

5. Nevertheless Saul spake not any thing that day: for he thought, Something hath befallen him, he is not clean; surely he is not clean.
然而这日扫罗没有说什么，他想大卫遇事，偶染不洁，他必定是不洁。

6. And Ira also the Jairite was a chief ruler about David.
睚珥人以拉作大卫的宰相。

7. And it came to pass at the return of the year, that Benhadad numbered the Syrians, and went up to Aphek, to fight against Israel.
次年，便哈达果然点齐亚兰人上亚弗去，要与以色列人打仗。

8. And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah; for there they blessed the LORD: therefore the name of the same place was called, The valley of Berachah, unto this day.
第四日众人聚集在比拉迦谷（就是称颂的意思），在那里称颂耶和华。因此那地方名叫比拉迦谷，直到今日。

9. All darkness shall be hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle.
他的财宝归于黑暗。人所不吹的火要把他烧灭，要把他帐棚中所剩下的烧毁。

10. A wise king scattereth the wicked, and bringeth the wheel over them.
智慧的王，簸散恶人，用碌碡辊轧他们。

11. And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the LORD.
因他们将一切头生的经火，我就任凭他们在这供献的事上玷污自己，好叫他们凄凉，使他们知道我是耶和华。

12. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
只是在你们中间不可这样。你们中间谁愿为大，就必作你们的用人。

13. And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.
他扪当着百姓，在这话上得不着把柄。又希奇他的应对，就闭口无言了。

14. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
过了八日，门徒又在屋里，多马也和他们同在，门都关了。耶稣来站在当中说，愿你们平安。

15. Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
所以我今日向你们证明，你们中间无论何人死亡，罪不在我身上。（原文作我于众人的血是洁净的）。
