1. And there came against Gibeah ten thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and the battle was sore: but they knew not that evil was near them.
有以色列人中的一万精兵，来到基比亚前接战，势派甚是凶猛。便雅悯人却不知道灾祸临近了。

2. So Jonathan arose from the table in fierce anger, and did eat no meat the second day of the month: for he was grieved for David, because his father had done him shame.
于是约拿单气忿忿地从席上起来，在这初二日没有吃饭。他因见父亲羞辱大卫，就为大卫愁烦。

3. And Ben-hadad said unto him, The cities, which my father took from thy father, I will restore; and thou shalt make streets for thee in Damascus, as my father made in Samaria. Then said Ahab, I will send thee away with this covenant. So he made a covenant with him, and sent him away.
便哈达对王说，我父从你父那里所夺的城邑，我必归还。你可以在大马士革立街市，像我父在撒马利亚所立的一样。亚哈说，我照此立约，放你回去，就与他立约，放他去了。

4. Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Jehu the son of Hanani, who is mentioned in the book of the kings of Israel.
约沙法其馀的事，自始至终都写在哈拿尼的儿子耶户的书上，也载入以色列诸王记上。

5. And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.
我必用大能的手和伸出来的膀臂，并倾出来的忿怒，将你们从万民中领出来，从分散的列国内聚集你们。

6. So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
耶稣就动了慈心，把他们的眼睛一摸，他们立刻看见，就跟从了耶稣。

7. And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
耶稣说，这世界的人，有娶有嫁。

8. Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
我这两只手，常供给我和同人的需用，这是你们自己知道的。
