1. And the children of Benjamin said, They are smitten down before us, as at the first. But the children of Israel said, Let us flee, and draw them from the city unto the highways.
便雅悯人说，他们仍旧败在我们面前。但以色列人说，我们不如逃跑，引诱他们离开城到路上来。

2. And Jonathan answered Saul his father, and said unto him, Wherefore shall he be slain? what hath he done?
约拿单对父亲扫罗说，他为什么该死呢。他作了什么呢。

3. So they girded sackcloth on their loins, and put ropes on their heads, and came to the king of Israel, and said, Thy servant Benhadad saith, I pray thee, let me live. And he said, Is he yet alive? he is my brother.
于是他们腰束麻布，头套绳索，去见以色列王，说，王的仆人便哈达说，求王存留我的性命。亚哈说，他还活着吗。他是我的兄弟。

4. And he walked in the way of Asa his father, and departed not from it, doing that which was right in the sight of the LORD.
约沙法效法他父亚撒所行的，不偏左右，行耶和华眼中看为正的事。

5. And that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, that ye say, We will be as the heathen, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone.
你们说，我们要像外邦人和列国的宗族一样，去事奉木头与石头。你们所起的这心意万不能成就。

6. And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?
耶稣就站住，叫他们来，说，要我为你们作什么。

7. Last of all the woman died also.
后来妇人也死了。

8. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
如今我把你们交托神，和他恩惠的道。这道能建立你们，叫你们和一切成圣的人同得基业。
