1. And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.
耶和华对摩西说，你要向以色列人这样说，你们自己看见我从天上和你们说话了。

2. Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.
所以，你们要谨守遵行我一切的律例典章，免得我领你们去住的那地把你们吐出。

3. And the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, journeyed from Kadesh, and came unto mount Hor.
以色列全会众从加低斯起行，到了何珥山。

4. And the people the men of Israel encouraged themselves, and set their battle again in array in the place where they put themselves in array the first day.
以色列人彼此奋勇，仍在头一日摆阵的地方又摆阵。

5. But if I say thus unto the young man, Behold, the arrows are beyond thee; go thy way: for the LORD hath sent thee away.
我若对童子说，箭在前头，你就要去，因为是耶和华打发你去的。

6. Then the woman went unto all the people in her wisdom. And they cut off the head of Sheba the son of Bichri, and cast it out to Joab. And he blew a trumpet, and they retired from the city, every man to his tent. And Joab returned to Jerusalem unto the king.
妇人就凭她的智慧去劝众人。他们便割下比基利的儿子示巴的首级，丢给约押。约押吹角，众人就离城而散，各归各家去了。约押回耶路撒冷，到王那里。

7. And the prophet came to the king of Israel, and said unto him, Go, strengthen thyself, and mark, and see what thou doest: for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against thee.
那先知来见以色列王，对他说，你当自强，留心怎样防备。因为到明年这时候，亚兰王必上来攻击你。

8. And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
众人方唱歌赞美的时候，耶和华就派伏兵击杀那来攻击犹大人的亚扪人，摩押人，和西珥山人，他们就被打败了。

9. In the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.
他在满足有馀的时候，必到狭窄的地步。凡受苦楚的人，都必加手在他身上。

10. Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.
你不要说，我要以恶报恶。要等候耶和华，他必拯救你。

11. Nevertheless I withdrew mine hand, and wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted in the sight of the heathen, in whose sight I brought them forth.
虽然如此，我却为我名的缘故缩手没有这样行，免得我的名在我领他们出埃及的列国人眼前被亵渎。

12. But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
耶稣回答说，你们不知道所求的是什么。我将要喝的杯，你们能喝吗。他们说，我们能。

13. Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?
我们纳税给凯撒，可以不可以。

14. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
说了这话，就向他们吹一口气，说，你们受圣灵。

15. And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
现在我往耶路撒冷去，心甚迫切，（原文作心被捆绑）不知道在那里要遇见什么事。
