1. So the children of Benjamin saw that they were smitten: for the men of Israel gave place to the Benjamites, because they trusted unto the liers in wait which they had set beside Gibeah.
于是便雅悯人知道自己败了。先是以色列人。因为靠着在基比亚前所设的伏兵，就在便雅悯人面前嫂败。

2. And he said unto his lad, Run, find out now the arrows which I shoot. And as the lad ran, he shot an arrow beyond him.
约拿单对童子说，你跑去，把我所射的箭找来。童子跑去，约拿单就把箭射在童子前头。

3. Then said he unto him, Because thou hast not obeyed the voice of the LORD, behold, as soon as thou art departed from me, a lion shall slay thee. And as soon as he was departed from him, a lion found him, and slew him.
他就对那人说，你既不听从耶和华的话，你一离开我，必有狮子咬死你。那人一离开他，果然遇见狮子，把他咬死了。

4. And he joined himself with him to make ships to go to Tarshish: and they made the ships in Eziongaber.
二王合夥造船要往他施去，遂在以旬迦别造船。

5. Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord GOD.
我怎样在埃及地的旷野刑罚你们的列祖，也必照样刑罚你们。这是主耶和华说的。

6. Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
因为他们不能再死。和天使一样。既是复活的人，就为神的儿子。

7. And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.
保罗说完了这话，就跪下同众人祷告。
