1. Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,
他从那地出来往亚述去，建造尼尼微，利河伯，迦拉，

2. Not so: go now ye that are men, and serve the LORD; for that ye did desire. And they were driven out from Pharaoh's presence.
不可都去，你们这壮年人去事奉耶和华吧，因为这是你们所求的。于是把他们从法老面前撵出去。

3. And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses.
又使你们可以将耶和华藉摩西晓谕以色列人的一切律例教训他们。

4. And it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.
第二年二月二十日，云彩从法柜的帐幕收上去。

5. And the LORD said unto me, Arise, take thy journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give unto them.
耶和华吩咐我说，你起来引导这百姓，使他们进去得我向他们列祖起誓应许所赐之地。

6. And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.
他们在以色列人面前逃跑，正在伯和仑下坡的时候，耶和华从天上降大冰雹（冰雹原文作石头）在他们身上，直降到亚西加，打死他们。被冰雹打死的，比以色列人用刀杀死的还多。

7. And the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Did not I deliver you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?
耶和华对以色列人说，我岂没有救过你们脱离埃及人，亚摩利人，亚扪人，和非利士人吗。

8. And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?
素来认识扫罗的，看见他和先知一同受感说话，就彼此说，基士的儿子遇见什么了。扫罗也列在先知中吗。

9. And he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me: but if the children of Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will come and help thee.
约押对亚比筛说，亚兰人若强过我，你就来帮助我。亚扪人若强过你，我就去帮助你。

10. And the navy also of Hiram, that brought gold from Ophir, brought in from Ophir great plenty of almug trees, and precious stones.
希兰的船只从俄斐运了金子来，又从俄斐运了许多檀香木（或作乌木下同）和宝石来。

11. So Jehu slew all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, and his kinsfolks, and his priests, until he left him none remaining.
凡亚哈家在耶斯列所剩下的人和他的大臣，密友，祭司，耶户尽都杀了，没有留下一个。

12. And when all Jabeshgilead heard all that the Philistines had done to Saul,
基列雅比人听见非利士人向扫罗所行的一切事，

13. For whereas my father put a heavy yoke upon you, I will put more to your yoke: my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.
我父亲使你们负重轭，我必使你们负更重的轭。我父亲用鞭子责打你们，我要用蝎子鞭责打你们。

14. Now therefore make confession unto the LORD God of your fathers, and do his pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of the land, and from the strange wives.
现在当向耶和华你们列祖的神认罪，遵行他的旨意，离绝这些国的民和外邦的女子。

15. Micha, Rehob, Hashabiah,
米迦，利合，哈沙比雅，

16. Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.
你以皮和肉为衣给我穿上，用骨与筋把我全体联络。

17. He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.
他心里说，神竟忘记了。他掩面，永不观看。

18. The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
义人的口是生命的泉源。强暴蒙蔽恶人的口。

19. Surely the serpent will bite without enchantment; and a babbler is no better.
未行法术以先，蛇若咬人，后行法术也是无益。

20. Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?
我怎样待撒玛利亚，和其中的偶像，岂不照样待耶路撒冷，和其中的偶像吗。

21. Let such an one think this, that, such as we are in word by letters when we are absent, such will we be also in deed when we are present.
这等人当想，我们不在那里的时候，信上的言语如何，见面的时候，行事也必如何。

22. Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
你们要对他们如此说，不是那创造天地的神，必从地上从天下被除灭。

23. When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.
轮行走的时候，向四方都能直行，并不掉转。头向何方，他们也随向何方，行走的时候并不掉转。

24. And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
他对我说，大蒙眷爱的但以理阿，要明白我与你所说的话，只管站起来，因为我现在奉差遣来到你这里。他对我说这话，我便战战兢兢地立起来。

25. And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.
以法莲是驯良的母牛犊，喜爱踹谷，我却将轭加在它肥美的颈项上，我要使以法莲拉套（或作被骑）。犹大必耕田，雅各必耙地。

26. And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.
耶和华必经过苦海，击打海浪，使尼罗河的深处都枯乾。亚述的骄傲必致卑微。埃及的权柄必然灭没。

27. And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
你们无论进那一城，那一村，要打听那里谁是好人，就住在他家，直住到走的时候。

28. And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
耶稣对他们说，凡休妻另娶的，就是犯奸淫，辜负他的妻子。

29. Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
说，就是你们城里的尘土，粘在我们的脚上，我们也当着你们擦去。虽然如此，你们该知道神的国临近了。

30. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
我是好牧人，好牧人为羊舍命。

31. And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
看见天开了，有一物降下，好像一块大布。系着四角，槌在地上。

32. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
经上说，凡信他的人，必不至于羞愧。

33. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
他们遭遇这些事，都要作为监戒。并且写在经上，正是警戒我们这末世的人。

34. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
凡祭司天天站着事奉神，履次献上一样的祭物。这祭物永不能除罪。

35. And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
天使（原文作他们）对我说，你必指着多民多国多方多王说预言。
