1. And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
希伯生了两个儿子，一个名叫法勒（法勒就是分的意思），因为那时人就分地居住。法勒的兄弟名叫约坍。

2. And Moses said, Thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our God.
摩西说，你总要把祭物和燔祭牲交给我们，使我们可以祭祀耶和华我们的神。

3. And the standard of the camp of the children of Dan set forward, which was the rereward of all the camps throughout their hosts: and over his host was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
在诸营末后的是但营的纛，按着军队往前行。统领军队的是亚米沙代的儿子亚希以谢。

4. And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.
约书亚对他们说，你们不要惧怕，也不要惊惶。应当刚强壮胆，因为耶和华必这样待你们所要攻打的一切仇敌。

5. Then Samuel told the people the manner of the kingdom, and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before the LORD. And Samuel sent all the people away, every man to his house.
撒母耳将国法对百姓说明，又记在书上，放在耶和华面前，然后遣散众民，各回各家去了。

6. And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armour, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.
他们各带贡物，就是金器，银器，衣服，军械，香料，骡马，每年有一定之例。

7. And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, that Jehu said to the guard and to the captains, Go in, and slay them; let none come forth. And they smote them with the edge of the sword; and the guard and the captains cast them out, and went to the city of the house of Baal.
耶户献完了燔祭，就出来吩咐护卫兵和众军长说，你们进去杀他们，不容一人出来。护卫兵和军长就用刀杀他们，将尸首抛出去，便到巴力庙的城去了，

8. Moreover of Israel: of the sons of Parosh; Ramiah, and Jeziah, and Malchiah, and Miamin, and Eleazar, and Malchijah, and Benaiah.
以色列人巴录的子孙中，有拉米，耶西雅，玛基雅，米雅民，以利亚撒，玛基雅，比拿雅。

9. Rehum, Hashabnah, Maaseiah,
利宏，哈沙拿，玛西雅，

10. As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.
暴风一过，恶人归于无有。义人的根基却是永久。

11. For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction.
因为还有一点点时候，向你们发的忿恨就要完毕，我的怒气要向他发作，使他灭亡。

12. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
骆驼穿过针的眼，比财主进神的国，还容易呢。

13. Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.
愿你将忿怒倾在不认识你的列国中，和不求告你名的各族上。因为他们吞了雅各，不但吞了，而且灭绝，把他的住处变为荒场。

14. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
学生和先生一样，仆人和主人一样，也就吧了。人既骂家主是别西卜，何况他的家人呢。（别西卜是鬼王的名）

15. And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
有一个律法师，起来试探耶稣说，夫子，我该作什么才可以承受永生。

16. Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
耶稣回答说，我已经告诉你们，你们不信。我奉我父之名所行的事，可以为我作见证。

17. And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.
彼得一进去，哥尼流就迎接他，俯伏在他脚前拜他。

18. Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:
凡市上所卖的，你们只管吃，不要为良心的缘故问什么话。

19. Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
你们不可停止聚会，好像那些停止惯了的人，倒要彼此劝勉。既知道（原文作看见）那日子临近，就更当如此。
