1. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.
他在耶和华面前是个英勇的猎户,所以俗语说,像宁录在耶和华面前是个英勇的猎户。

2. And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the LORD.
摩西说,我们要和我们老的少的,儿子女儿同去,且把羊群牛群一同带去,因为我们务要向耶和华守节。

3. Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations:
你和你儿子进会幕的时候,清酒,浓酒都不可喝,免得你们死亡,这要作你们世世代代永远的定例。

4. And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.
你们在自己的地,与欺压你们的敌人打仗,就要用号吹出大声,便在耶和华你们的神面前得蒙纪念,也蒙拯救脱离仇敌。

5. Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the LORD is his inheritance, according as the LORD thy God promised him.
所以利未人在他弟兄中无分无业,耶和华是他的产业,正如耶和华你神所应许他的。)

6. Joshua therefore came unto them suddenly, and went up from Gilgal all night.
约书亚就终夜从吉甲上去,猛然临到他们那里。

7. Moreover the children of Ammon passed over Jordan to fight also against Judah, and against Benjamin, and against the house of Ephraim; so that Israel was sore distressed.
亚扪人又渡过约旦河去攻打犹大和便雅悯,并以法莲族。以色列人就甚觉窘迫。

8. And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day.
扫罗转身离别撒母耳,神就赐他一个新心。当日这一切兆头都应验了。

9. When Joab saw that the front of the battle was against him before and behind, he chose of all the choice men of Israel, and put them in array against the Syrians:
约押看见敌人在他前后摆阵,就从以色列军中挑选精兵,使他们对着亚兰人摆阵。

10. Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.
耶和华你的神是应当称颂的。他喜悦你,使你坐以色列的国位。因为他永远爱以色列,所以立你作王,使你秉公行义。

11. And it came to pass in the morning, that he went out, and stood, and said to all the people, Ye be righteous: behold, I conspired against my master, and slew him: but who slew all these?
次日早晨,耶户出来,站着对众民说,你们都是公义的,我背叛我主人,将他杀了。这些人却是谁杀的呢。

12. And when they had stripped him, they took his head, and his armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to carry tidings unto their idols, and to the people.
就剥了他的军装,割下他的首级,打发人到(到或作送到)非利士地的四境报信与他们的偶像和众民,

13. And he said unto them, What advice give ye that we may return answer to this people, which have spoken to me, saying, Ease somewhat the yoke that thy father did put upon us?
说,这民对我说,你父亲使我们负重轭,求你使我们轻松些。你们给我出个什么主意,我好回覆他们。

14. Then all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered themselves together unto Jerusalem within three days. It was the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month; and all the people sat in the street of the house of God, trembling because of this matter, and for the great rain.
于是,犹大和便雅悯众人,三日之内都聚集在耶路撒冷。那日正是九月二十日,众人都坐在神殿前的宽阔处。因这事,又因下大雨,就都战兢。

15. And the Levites: both Jeshua the son of Azaniah, Binnui of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel;
又有利未人,就是亚散尼的儿子耶书亚,希拿达的子孙宾内,甲篾。

16. Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?
求你记念制造我如抟泥一般,你还要使我归于麈土吗。

17. He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.
他埋伏在暗地,如狮子蹲在洞中。他埋伏,要掳去困苦人。他拉网,就把困苦人掳去。

18. He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.
行正直路的,步步安稳。走弯曲道的,必致败露。

19. Whoso removeth stones shall be hurt therewith; and he that cleaveth wood shall be endangered thereby.
凿开(或作挪移)石头的,必受损伤。擘开木头的,必遭危险。

20. Is not Calno as Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Samaria as Damascus?
迦勒挪岂不像迦基米施吗。哈马岂不像亚珥拔吗。撒玛利亚岂不像大马士革吗。

21. That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters.
我说这话免得你们以为我写信是要威吓你们。

22. Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple is their clothing: they are all the work of cunning men.
有银子打成片,是从他施带来的,并有从乌法来的金子,都是匠人和银匠的手工,又有蓝色紫色料的衣服,都是巧匠的工作。

23. And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubims, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was as the colour of a beryl stone.
我又观看,见基路伯旁边有四个轮子。这基路伯旁有一个轮子,那基路伯旁有一个轮子,每基路伯都是如此。轮子的颜色(原文作形状)彷佛水苍玉。

24. Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
我却听见他说话的声音,一听见就面伏在地沉睡了。

25. O Israel, thou hast sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity did not overtake them.
以色列阿,你从基比亚的日子以来,时常犯罪。你们的先人曾站在那里,现今住基比亚的人以为攻击罪孽之辈的战事临不到自己。

26. And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.
我虽然(或作必)播散他们在列国中,他们必在远方记念我。他们与儿女都必存活,且得归回。

27. Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
腰袋里,不要带金银铜钱。

28. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
所以神配合的,人不可分开。

29. And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
要医治那城里的病人,对他们说,神的国临近你们了。

30. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
我就是门。凡从我进来的,必然得救,并且出入得草吃。

31. On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:
第二天,他们行路将近那城,彼得约在午正,上房顶去祷告。

32. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
你若口里认耶稣为主,心里信神叫他从死里复活,就必得救。

33. Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
也不要试探主,(主有古卷作基督)像他们有人试探的,就被蛇所灭。

34. Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
后又说我来了为要照你的旨意行。可见他是除去在先的,为要立定在后的。

35. And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
我就走到天使那里,对他说,请你把小书卷给我。他对我说,你拿着吃尽了,便叫你肚子发苦,然而在你口中要甜如蜜。
