1. These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.
这就是闪的子孙，各随他们的宗族，方言，所住的地土，邦国。

2. And he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; forasmuch as thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou mayest be to us instead of eyes.
摩西说，求你不要离开我们。因为你知道我们要在旷野安营，你可以当作我们的眼目。

3. And Joshua passed from Libnah, and all Israel with him, unto Lachish, and encamped against it, and fought against it:
约书亚和以色列众人从立拿往拉吉去，对着拉吉安营，攻打这城。

4. But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the LORD God of Israel with all his heart: for he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam, which made Israel to sin.
只是耶户不尽心遵守耶和华以色列神的律法，不离开耶罗波安使以色列人陷在罪里的那罪。

5. And of the sons of Harim; Eliezer, Ishijah, Malchiah, Shemaiah, Shimeon,
哈琳的子孙中，有以利以谢，伊示雅，玛基雅，示玛雅，西缅，

6. And if the people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.
这地的居民若在安息日，或什么圣日，带了货物或粮食来卖给我们，我们必不买。每逢第七年必不耕种，凡欠我们债的必不追讨。

7. The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.
义人的口，滋生智慧。乖谬的舌，必被割断。

8. Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to flee.
玛得米那人躲避。基柄的居民逃遁。

9. But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.
然而有许多在前的将要在后，在后的将要在前。

10. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
所以不要惧怕。你们比许多麻雀还贵重。

11. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
偶然有一个祭司，从这条路下来。看见他就从那边过去了。

12. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
犹太人又拿起石头要打他。

13. And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
说，哥尼流，你的祷告，已蒙垂听，你的周济，达到神面前已蒙记念了。

14. Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
所以你们或吃或喝，无论作什么，都要荣耀神而行。

15. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
落在永生神的手里真是可怕的。
