1. And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.
闪生亚法撒之后，又活了五百年，并且生儿养女。

2. They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
这些无翅无鳞，以为可憎的，你们不可吃它的肉，死的也当以为可憎。

3. And Moses said unto the LORD, Wherefore hast thou afflicted thy servant? and wherefore have I not found favour in thy sight, that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me?
摩西对耶和华说，你为何苦待仆人，我为何不在你眼前蒙恩，竟把这管理百姓的重任加在我身上呢，

4. But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven:
你们要过去得为业的那地乃是有山有谷，雨水滋润之地，

5. And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with fire.
以色列人用刀击杀城中的人口，将他们尽行杀灭。凡有气息的没有留下一个。约书亚又用火焚烧夏琐。

6. Then Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and captain over them: and Jephthah uttered all his words before the LORD in Mizpeh.
于是耶弗他同基列的长老回去，百姓就立耶弗他作领袖，作元帅。耶弗他在米斯巴将自己的一切话陈明在耶和华面前。

7. And it was so on the morrow, that Saul put the people in three companies; and they came into the midst of the host in the morning watch, and slew the Ammonites until the heat of the day: and it came to pass, that they which remained were scattered, so that two of them were not left together.
第二日，扫罗将百姓分为三队，在晨更的时候入了亚扪人的营，击杀他们直到太阳近午，剩下的人都逃散，没有二人同在一处的。

8. And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing.
乌利亚对大卫说，约柜和以色列与犹大兵都住在棚里，我主约押和我主（或作王）的仆人都在田野安营，我岂可回家吃喝，与妻子同寝呢。我敢在王面前起誓（原文作我指着王和王的性命起誓）。

9. Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.
所以耶和华对他说，你忌行了这事，不遵守我所吩咐你守的约和律例，我必将你的国夺回，赐给你的臣子。

10. And the guard stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, round about the king, from the right corner of the temple to the left corner of the temple, along by the altar and the temple.
护卫兵手中各拿兵器，在坛和殿那里，从殿右直到殿左，站在王子的四围。

11. And this is the number of the mighty men whom David had; Jashobeam, an Hachmonite, the chief of the captains: he lifted up his spear against three hundred slain by him at one time.
大卫勇士的数目记在下面，哈革摩尼的儿子雅朔班，他是军长的统领，一时举枪杀了三百人。

12. And he fortified the strong holds, and put captains in them, and store of victual, and of oil and wine.
罗波安又坚固各处的保障，在其中安置军长，又预备下粮食，油，酒。

13. Seraiah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, was the ruler of the house of God.
还有管理神殿的西莱雅，西莱雅是希勒家的儿子。希勒家是米书兰的儿子。米书兰是撒督的儿子。撒督是米拉约的儿子。米拉约是亚希突的儿子。

14. For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it?
他本知道虚妄的人。人的罪孽，他虽不留意，还是无所不见。

15. By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.
城因正直人祝福便高举。却因邪恶人的口就倾覆。

16. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
当那日，主必二次伸手救回自己百姓中所馀剩的，就是在亚述，埃及，巴忒罗，古实，以拦，示拿，哈马，并众海岛所剩下的。

17. Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.
所以耶和华如此说，我必使灾祸临到他们，是他们不能逃脱的。他们必向我哀求，我却不听。

18. And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.
耶稣进了耶路撒冷，入了圣殿，周围看了各样物件。天色已晚，就和十二个门徒出城往伯大尼去了。

19. Wherefore? because I love you not? God knoweth.
为什么呢。是因我不爱你们吗。这有神知道。

20. This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel:
这城必不作你们的锅，你们也不作其中的肉。我必在以色列的境界审判你们，

21. And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand.
南方王必发烈怒，出来与北方王争战，摆列大军。北方王的军兵必交付他手。

22. They shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of Assyria: and I will place them in their houses, saith the LORD.
他们必如雀鸟从埃及急速而来，又如鸽子从亚述地来到，我必使他们住自己的房屋。这是耶和华说的。

23. And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD.
当日就废弃了。这样，那些仰望我的困苦羊，就知道所说的是耶和华的话。

24. Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
我实在告诉你们，凡妇人所生的，没有一个兴起来大过施洗约翰的。然而天国里最小的，比他还大。

25. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
你们中间作父亲的，谁有儿子求饼，反给他石头呢。求鱼，反拿蛇当鱼给他呢。

26. These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
耶稣说了这话，随后对他们说，我们的朋友拉撒路睡了，我去叫醒他。

27. And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me.
正当那时，有三个人站在我们所住的房门前，是从凯撒利亚差来见我的。

28. I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
我且说，他们失脚是要他们跌倒吗。断乎不是。反倒因他们的过失，救恩便临到外邦人，要激动他们发愤。

29. Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
然而照主的安排，女也不是无男，男也不是无女。

30. Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
因着信，连撒拉自己，虽然过了生育的岁数，还能怀孕。因他以为那应许他的是可信的。

31. And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
过了三天半，有生气从神那里进入他们里面，他们就站起来。看见他们的人甚是害怕。
