1. And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.
他拉共活了二百零五岁，就死在哈兰。

2. And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed.
其中死了的，掉在什么东西上，这东西就不洁净，无论是木器，衣服，皮子，口袋，不拘是作什么工用的器皿，须要放在水中，必不洁净到晚上，到晚上才洁净了。

3. And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.
百姓起来，终日终夜，并次日一整天，捕取鹌鹑。至少的也取了十贺梅珥，为自己摆列在营的四围。

4. And ye shall observe to do all the statutes and judgments which I set before you this day.
你们要谨守遵行我今日在你们面前所陈明的一切律例典章。

5. So Jephthah passed over unto the children of Ammon to fight against them; and the LORD delivered them into his hands.
于是耶弗他往亚扪人那里去，与他们争战。耶和华将他们交在他手中，

6. (But he shall have one tribe for my servant David's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel:)
（我因仆人大卫和我在以色列众支派中所选择的耶路撒冷城的缘故，仍给所罗门留一个支派。）

7. Hurai of the brooks of Gaash, Abiel the Arbathite,
迦实溪人户莱，亚拉巴人亚比，

8. And at Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
亚拿突，挪伯，亚难雅，

9. In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me:
在大马士革亚哩达王手下的提督，把守大马士革城要捉拿我。

10. And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
作恶违背圣约的人，他必用巧言勾引。惟独认识神的子民必刚强行事。

11. But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.
若说从人间来，却又怕百姓。因为众人真以约翰为先知。

12. The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
当审判的时候，尼尼微人，要起来定这世代的罪。因为尼尼微人听了约拿所传的，就悔改了。看哪，在这里有一人比约拿更大。

13. Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
马利亚到了耶稣那里，看见他，就俯伏在他脚前，说，主阿，你若早在这里，我兄弟必不死。

14. For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
因为神将众人都圈在不顺服之中，特意要怜恤众人。

15. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
我们受审的时候，乃是被主惩治。免得我们和世人一同定罪。

16. And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:
我又何必再说呢。若一一细说，基甸，巴拉，叁孙，耶弗他，大卫，撒母耳，和众先知的事，时候就不够了。
