1. And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
那时，天下人的口音，言语，都是一样。

2. And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.
耶和华对摩西说，我再使一样的灾殃临到法老和埃及，然后他必容你们离开这地。他容你们去的时候，总要催逼你们都从这地出去。

3. And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,
耶和华对摩西，亚伦说，

4. And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.
众百姓发怨言，他们的恶语达到耶和华的耳中。耶和华听见了就怒气发作，使火在他们中间焚烧，直烧到营的边界。

5. Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.
你要爱耶和华你的神，常守他的吩咐，律例，典章，诫命。

6. And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor had heard those things, that he sent to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph,
夏琐王耶宾听见这事，就打发人去见玛顿王约巴，伸仑王，押煞王，

7. Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valour, and he was the son of an harlot: and Gilead begat Jephthah.
基列人耶弗他是个大能的勇士，是妓女的儿子。耶弗他是基列所生的。

8. Then Nahash the Ammonite came up, and encamped against Jabeshgilead: and all the men of Jabesh said unto Nahash, Make a covenant with us, and we will serve thee.
亚扪人的王拿辖上来，对着基列雅比安营。雅比众人对拿辖说，你与我们立约，我们就服事你。

9. And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem.
过了一年，到列王出战的时候，大卫又差派约押，率领臣仆和以色列众人出战。他们就打败亚扪人，围攻拉巴。大卫仍住在耶路撒冷。

10. But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites;
所罗门王在法老的女儿之外，又宠爱许多外邦女子，就是摩押女子，亚扪女子，以东女子，西顿女子，赫人女子。

11. And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal.
亚哈谢的母亲亚他利雅见她儿子死了，就起来剿灭王室。

12. Then all Israel gathered themselves to David unto Hebron, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh.
以色列众人聚集到希伯仑见大卫，说，我们原是你的骨肉。

13. And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he gathered of the house of Judah and Benjamin an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against Israel, that he might bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.
罗波安来到耶路撒冷，招聚犹大家和便雅悯家，共十八万人，都是挑选的战士，要与以色列人争战，好将国夺回再归自己。

14. And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.
百姓的首领住在耶路撒冷。其馀的百姓掣签，每十人中使一人来住在圣城耶路撒冷，那九人住在别的城邑。

15. Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,
拿玛人琐法回答说，

16. In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
我是投靠耶和华。你们怎吗对我说，你当像鸟飞往你的山去。

17. A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.
诡诈的天平，为耶和华所憎恶。公平的法码，为他所喜悦。

18. Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.
当将你的粮食撒在水面，因为日久必能得着。

19. And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
从耶西的本（原文作？？）必发一条，从他生的枝子必结果实。

20. And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,
耶稣和门徒将近耶路撒冷，到了伯法其和伯大尼，在橄榄山那里。耶稣就打发两个门徒，

21. Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.
但愿你们宽容我这一点愚妄。其实你们原是宽容我的。

22. The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
耶和华的话临到耶利米说，

23. Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD's house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.
灵将我举起，带到耶和华殿向东的东门。谁知，在门口有二十五个人，我见其中有民间的首领押朔的儿子雅撒尼亚和比拿雅的儿子毗拉提。

24. Also I in the first year of Darius the Mede, even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him.
又说，当玛代王大流士元年，我曾起来扶助米迦勒，使他坚强。

25. When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.
以色列年幼的时候，我爱他，就从埃及少出我的儿子来。

26. Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.
黎巴嫩哪，开开你的门，任火烧灭你的香柏树。

27. And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.
耶稣吩咐完了十二个门徒，就离开那里，往各城去传道教训人。

28. And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
耶稣在一个地方祷告。祷告完了，有个门徒对他说，求主教导我们祷告，像约翰教导他的门徒。

29. Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.
有一个患病的人，名叫拉撒路，住在伯大尼，就是马利亚和他姐姐马大的村庄。

30. And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.
使徒和在犹太的众弟兄，听说外邦人也领受了神的道。

31. I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
我且说，神弃绝了他的百姓吗。断乎没有。因为我也是以色列人，亚伯拉罕的后裔，属便雅悯支派的。

32. Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
你们该效法我，像我效法基督一样。

33. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
信就是所望之事的实底，是未见之事的确据。

34. And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
有一根苇子赐给我，当作量度的杖。且有话说，起来，将神的殿，和祭坛，并在殿中礼拜的人，都量一量。
