1. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
耶和华说，看哪，他们成为一样的人民，都是一样的言语，如今既作起这事来，以后他们所要作的事就没有不成就的了。

2. And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
埃及遍地必有大哀号，从前没有这样的，后来也必没有。

3. And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
兔子因为倒嚼不分蹄，就与你们不洁净。

4. But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.
现在我们的心血枯竭了，除这吗哪以外，在我们眼前并没有别的东西。

5. And what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel:
也没有看见他怎样待流便子孙以利押的儿子大坍，亚比兰，地怎样在以色列人中间开口，吞了他们和他们的家眷，并帐棚与跟他们的一切活物。

6. And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.
耶和华对约书亚说，你不要因他们惧怕。明日这时，我必将他们交付以色列人全然杀了。你要砍断他们马的蹄筋，用火焚烧他们的车辆。

7. And they said unto Jephthah, Come, and be our captain, that we may fight with the children of Ammon.
对耶弗他说，请你来作我们的元帅，我们好与亚扪人争战。

8. And the Spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard those tidings, and his anger was kindled greatly.
扫罗听见这话，就被神的灵大大感动，甚是发怒。

9. And David sent to Joab, saying, Send me Uriah the Hittite. And Joab sent Uriah to David.
大卫差人到约押那里，说，你打发赫人乌利亚到我这里来。约押就打发乌利亚去见大卫。

10. And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father.
所罗门行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，不效法他父亲大卫专心顺从耶和华。

11. And a third part shall be at the gate of Sur; and a third part at the gate behind the guard: so shall ye keep the watch of the house, that it be not broken down.
三分之一要在苏珥门，三分之一要在护卫兵院的后门。这样把守王宫，拦阻闲人。

12. And David said, Whosoever smiteth the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain. So Joab the son of Zeruiah went first up, and was chief.
大卫说，谁先攻打耶布斯人，必作首领元帅。洗鲁雅的儿子约押先上去，就作了元帅。

13. He built even Bethlehem, and Etam, and Tekoa,
为保障修筑伯利恒，以坦，提哥亚，

14. All the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred threescore and eight valiant men.
住在耶路撒冷，法勒斯的子孙共四百六十八名，都是勇士。

15. And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.
并将智慧的奥秘指示你，他有诸般的智识。所以当知道神追讨你，比你罪孽该得的还少。

16. Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
他要向恶人密布网罗。有烈火，琉璜，热风，作他们杯中的分。

17. The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.
正直人的义，必拯救自己。奸诈人必陷在自己的罪孽中。

18. In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.
早晨要撒你的种，晚上也不歇你的手，因为你不知那一样发旺，或是早撒的，或是晚撒的，或是两样都好。

19. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
豺狼必与绵羊羔同居，豹子与山羊羔同卧。少壮狮子，与牛犊，并肥畜同群。小孩子要牵引他们。

20. And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.
门徒照着耶稣所说的回答，那些人就任凭他们牵去了。

21. But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.
我的言语虽然粗俗，我的知识却不粗俗。这是我们在凡事上，向你们众人显明出来的。

22. Then the LORD said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them.
耶和华对我说，你要在犹大城邑中和耶路撒冷街市上，宣告这一切话说，你们当听从遵行这约的话。

23. Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.
你们在这城中杀人增多，使被杀的人充满街道。

24. And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.
过些年后，他们必互相连合，南方王的女儿必就了北方王来立约。但这女子帮助之力存立不住，王和他所倚靠之力也不能存立。这女子和引导她来的，并生她的，以及当时扶助她的，都必交于死地。

25. And the sword shall abide on his cities, and shall consume his branches, and devour them, because of their own counsels.
刀剑必临到他们的城邑，毁坏门闩，把人吞灭，都因他们随从自己的计谋。

26. For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour's hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.
耶和华说，我不再怜恤这地的居民。必将这民交给各人的邻舍，和他们王的手中。他们必毁灭这地，我也不救这民脱离他们的手。

27. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
凡不因我跌倒的，就有福了。

28. For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?
因为我有一个朋友行路，来到我这里，我没有什么给他摆上。

29. When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.
听见拉撒路病了，就在所居之地，仍住了两天。

30. Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
我定睛观看，见内中有地上四足的牲畜，和野兽，昆虫，并天上的飞鸟。

31. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
既是出于恩典，就不在乎行为。不然，恩典就不是恩典了。

32. For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
女人若不蒙着头，就该剪了头发。女人若以剪发剃发为羞愧，就该蒙着头。

33. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
人非有信就不能得神的喜悦。因为到神面前来的人，必须信有神，且信他赏赐那寻求他的人。

34. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
这二人有权柄，在他们传道的日子叫天闭塞不下雨，叫水变为血。并且能随时随意用各样的灾殃攻击世界。
