1. And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.
法勒生拉吴之后，又活了二百零九年，并且生儿养女。

2. And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
鹳，鹭鸶与其类，戴？？与蝙蝠。

3. Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days;
你们不止吃一天，两天，五天，十天，二十天，

4. And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
也要教训你们的儿女，无论坐在家里，行在路上，躺下，起来，都要谈论。

5. There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, save the Hivites the inhabitants of Gibeon: all other they took in battle.
除了基遍的希未人之外，没有一城与以色列人讲和的，都是以色列人争战夺来的。

6. And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, the king of Heshbon; and Israel said unto him, Let us pass, we pray thee, through thy land into my place.
以色列人打发使者去见亚摩利王西宏，就是希实本的王，对他说，求你容我们从你的地经过，往我们自己的地方去。

7. And charged the messenger, saying, When thou hast made an end of telling the matters of the war unto the king,
又嘱咐使者说，你把争战的一切事对王说完了，

8. And Hadad found great favour in the sight of Pharaoh, so that he gave him to wife the sister of his own wife, the sister of Tahpenes the queen.
哈达在法老面前大蒙恩惠，以致法老将王后答比匿的妹子赐他为妻。

9. And he took the rulers over hundreds, and the captains, and the guard, and all the people of the land; and they brought down the king from the house of the LORD, and came by the way of the gate of the guard to the king's house. And he sat on the throne of the kings.
又率领百夫长和迦利人（或作亲兵）与护卫兵，以及国中的众民，请王从耶和华殿下来，由护卫兵的门进入王宫，他就坐了王位。

10. And said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this thing: shall I drink the blood of these men that have put their lives in jeopardy? for with the jeopardy of their lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mightiest.
说，我的神阿，这三个人冒死去打水，这水好像他们的血一般，我断不敢喝。如此，大卫不肯喝。这是三个勇士所作的事。

11. Which bare him children; Jeush, and Shamariah, and Zaham.
从她生了几个儿子，就是耶乌施，示玛利雅，撒罕。

12. Moreover the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundred seventy and two.
守门的是亚谷和达们，并守门的弟兄，共一百七十二名。

13. Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.
你躺卧，无人惊吓，且有许多人向你求恩。

14. As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.
恒心为义的，必得生命。追求邪恶的，必致死亡。

15. But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.
我却像柔顺的羊羔被牵到宰杀之地。我并不知道他们设计谋害我，说，我们把树连果子都灭了吧。将他从活人之地剪除，使他的名不再被纪念。

16. And when even was come, he went out of the city.
每天晚上，耶稣出城去。

17. For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise.
你们既是精明的人，就能甘心忍耐愚妄人。

18. And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
我要使他们有合一的心，也要将新灵放在他们里面，又从他们肉体中除掉石心，赐给他们肉心，

19. Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.
他就必转向本地的保障，却要绊跌仆倒，归于无有。

20. The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.
人子来了，也吃，也喝，人又说他是贪食好酒的人，是税吏罪人的朋友。但智慧之子，总以智慧为是。（有古卷作但智慧在行为上就显为是）

21. And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.
我若靠着别西卜赶鬼，你们的子弟赶鬼，又靠着谁呢。这样，他们就要断定你们的是非。

22. And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.
有些犹太人来看马大和马利亚，要为他们的兄弟安慰他们。

23. Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.
那些因司提反的事遭患难四散的门徒，直走到腓尼基，和塞浦路斯，并安提阿。他们不向别人讲道，只向犹太人讲。

24. Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
你若说，那枝子被折下来，是特为叫我接上。

25. For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
在你们中间不免有分门结党的事，好叫那些有经验的人，显明出来。

26. Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
他以为神还能叫人从死里复活。他也彷佛从死中得回他的儿子来。

27. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
当时神天上的殿开了。在他殿中现出他的约柜后有闪电，声音，雷轰，地震，大雹。
