1. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
我们下去，在那里变乱他们的口音，使他们的言语彼此不通。

2. But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.
至于以色列中，无论是人是牲畜，连狗也不敢向他们摇舌，好叫你们知道耶和华是将埃及人和以色列人分别出来。

3. And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.
猪因为蹄分两瓣，却不倒嚼，就与你们不洁净。

4. And the manna was as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium.
这吗哪彷佛芫荽子，又好像珍珠。

5. But your eyes have seen all the great acts of the LORD which he did.
惟有你们亲眼看见耶和华所作的一切大事。

6. So Joshua came, and all the people of war with him, against them by the waters of Merom suddenly; and they fell upon them.
于是约书亚率领一切兵丁，在米伦水边突然向前攻打他们。

7. And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, Did not ye hate me, and expel me out of my father's house? and why are ye come unto me now when ye are in distress?
耶弗他回答基列的长老说，从前你们不是恨我，赶逐我出离父家吗。现在你们遭遇急难为何到我这里来呢。

8. And he took a yoke of oxen, and hewed them in pieces, and sent them throughout all the coasts of Israel by the hands of messengers, saying, Whosoever cometh not forth after Saul and after Samuel, so shall it be done unto his oxen. And the fear of the LORD fell on the people, and they came out with one consent.
他将一对牛切成块子，托付使者传送以色列的全境，说，凡不出来跟随扫罗和撒母耳的，也必这样切开他的牛。于是耶和华使百姓惧怕，他们就都出来，如同一人。

9. And when Uriah was come unto him, David demanded of him how Joab did, and how the people did, and how the war prospered.
乌利亚来了，大卫问约押好，也问兵好，又问争战的事怎样。

10. Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.
所罗门为摩押可憎的神基抹和亚扪人可憎的神摩洛，在耶路撒冷对面的山上建筑邱坛。

11. And two parts of all you that go forth on the sabbath, even they shall keep the watch of the house of the LORD about the king.
你们安息日所有出班的三分之二要在耶和华的殿里护卫王。

12. And David dwelt in the castle; therefore they called it the city of David.
大卫住在保障里，所以那保障叫作大卫城。

13. And Bethzur, and Shoco, and Adullam,
伯夙，梭哥，亚杜兰，

14. And these are the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jesaiah.
便雅悯人中有米书兰的儿子撒路。米书兰是约叶的儿子。约叶是毗大雅的儿子。毗大雅是哥赖雅的儿子。哥赖雅是玛西雅的儿子。玛西雅是以铁的儿子。以铁是耶筛亚的儿子。

15. Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?
你考察，就能测透神吗。你岂能尽情测透全能者吗。

16. For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
因为耶和华是公义的。他喜爱公义。正直人必得见他的面。

17. When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.
恶人一死，他的指望必灭绝。罪人的盼望，也必灭没。

18. Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun:
光本是佳美的，眼见日光也是可悦的。

19. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
牛必与熊同食。牛犊必与小熊同卧。狮子必吃草与牛一样。

20. For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.
因为我将你们列祖从埃及地领出来的那日，直到今日，都是从早起来，切切诰诫他们说，你们当听从我的话。

21. And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.
他们把驴驹牵到耶稣那里，把自己的衣服搭在上面，耶稣就骑上。

22. Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?
我因为白白传神的福音给你们，就自居卑微，叫你们高升，这算是我犯罪吗。

23. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.
所以主耶和华如此说，你们杀在城中的人就是肉，这城就是锅。你们却要从其中被带出去。

24. But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail:
但这女子的本家（原文作根）必另生一子（子原文作枝）继续王位，他必率领军队进入北方王的保障，攻击他们，而且得胜。

25. And my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt him.
我的民偏要背道离开我，众先知虽然招呼他们归向至上的主，却无人尊崇主。

26. And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.
于是，我牧养这将宰的群羊，就是群中最困苦的羊。我拿着两根杖。一根我称为荣美，一根我称为联索。这样，我牧养了群羊。

27. And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
他们走的时候，耶稣就对众人讲论约翰说，你们从前出到旷野，是要看什么呢，要看风吹动的芦苇吗。

28. And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.
那人在里面回答说，不要搅扰我。门已经关闭，孩子们也同我在床上了。我不能起来给你。

29. Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again.
然后对门徒说，我们再往犹太去吧。

30. And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.
我且听见有声音向我说，彼得，起来，宰了吃。

31. What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
这是怎吗样呢。以色列人所求的，他们没有得着。惟有蒙拣选的人得着了，其馀的就成了顽梗不化的。

32. For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
男人本不该蒙着头，因为他是神的形像和荣耀，但女人是男人的荣耀。

33. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
挪亚因着信，既蒙神指示他未见的事，动了敬畏的心，豫备了一只方舟，使他全家得救。因此就定了那世代的罪，自己也承受了那从信而来的义。

34. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
他们作完见证的时候，那从无底坑里上来的兽，必与他们交战，并且得胜，把他们杀了。
