1. And every earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it.
若有死了掉在瓦器里的，其中不拘有什么，就不洁净，你们要把这瓦器打破了。

2. And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD smote the people with a very great plague.
肉在他们牙齿之间尚未嚼烂，耶和华的怒气就向他们发作，用最重的灾殃击杀了他们。

3. And he smote them from Aroer, even till thou come to Minnith, even twenty cities, and unto the plain of the vineyards, with a very great slaughter. Thus the children of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel.
他就大大杀败他们，从亚罗珥到米匿，直到亚备勒基拉明，攻取了二十座城。这样亚扪人就被以色列人制伏了。

4. Because that they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes, and to keep my statutes and my judgments, as did David his father.
因为他离弃我，敬拜西顿人的女神亚斯她录，摩押的神基抹，和亚扪人的神米勒公，没有遵从我的道，行我眼中看为正的事，守我的律例典章，像他父亲大卫一样。

5. Azmaveth the Baharumite, Eliahba the Shaalbonite,
巴路米人押斯玛弗，沙本人以利雅哈巴，

6. Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
夏琐，拉玛，基他音，

7. And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.
我就从窗户中，在筐子里从城墙上被人缒下去，脱离了他的手。

8. And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.
民间的智慧人必训诲多人。然而他们多日必倒在刀下，或被火烧，或被掳掠抢夺。

9. And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
于是回答耶稣说，我们不知道。耶稣说，我也不告诉你们，我仗着什么权柄作这事。

10. No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.
没有人点灯放在地窨子里，或是斗底下，总是放在灯台上，使进来的人看得见亮光。

11. When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,
耶稣看见他哭，并看见与他同来的犹太人也哭，就心里悲叹，又甚忧愁。

12. O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
深哉，神丰富的智慧和知识。他的判断，何其难测，他的踪迹，何其难寻，

13. Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
所以我弟兄们，你们聚会吃的时候，要彼此等待。

14. Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
他们因着信，制伏了敌国，行了公义，得了应许，堵了狮子的口。
