1. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
于是，耶和华使他们从那里分散在全地上。他们就停工，不造那城了。

2. And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger.
你这一切臣仆都要俯伏来见我，说，求你和跟从你的百姓都出去，然后我要出去。于是，摩西气忿忿地离开法老，出去了。

3. Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.
这些兽的肉，你们不可吃，死的，你们不可摸，都与你们不洁净。

4. And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil.
百姓周围行走，把吗哪收起来，或用磨推，或用臼捣，煮在锅中，又作成饼，滋味好像新油。

5. Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it;
所以，你们要守我今日所吩咐的一切诫命，使你们胆壮，能以进去，得你们所要得的那地，

6. And the LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel, who smote them, and chased them unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephothmaim, and unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left them none remaining.
耶和华将他们交在以色列人手里，以色列人就击杀他们，追赶他们到西顿大城，到米斯利弗玛音，直到东边米斯巴的平原，将他们击杀，没有留下一个。

7. And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, Therefore we turn again to thee now, that thou mayest go with us, and fight against the children of Ammon, and be our head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.
基列的长老回答耶弗他说，现在我们到你这里来，是要你同我们去，与亚扪人争战。你可以作基列一切居民的领袖。

8. And when he numbered them in Bezek, the children of Israel were three hundred thousand, and the men of Judah thirty thousand.
扫罗在比色数点他们，以色列人有三十万，犹大人有三万。

9. And David said to Uriah, Go down to thy house, and wash thy feet. And Uriah departed out of the king's house, and there followed him a mess of meat from the king.
大卫对乌利亚说，你回家去，洗洗脚吧。乌利亚出了王宫，随后王送他一分食物。

10. And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.
他为那些向自己的神烧香献祭的外邦女子，就是他娶来的妃嫔也是这样行。

11. And ye shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand: and he that cometh within the ranges, let him be slain: and be ye with the king as he goeth out and as he cometh in.
各人手拿兵器，四围护卫王。凡擅入你们班次的必当治死，王出入的时候，你们当跟随他。

12. And he built the city round about, even from Millo round about: and Joab repaired the rest of the city.
大卫又从米罗起，四围建筑城墙，其馀的是约押修理。

13. And Gath, and Mareshah, and Ziph,
迦特，玛利沙，西弗，

14. And after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight.
其次有迦拜，撒来的子孙，共九百二十八名。

15. It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?
他的智慧高于天，你还能做什么。深于阴间，你还能知道什么。

16. The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.
义人得脱离患难，有恶人来代替他。

17. But if a man live many years, and rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for they shall be many. All that cometh is vanity.
人活多年，就当快乐多年。然而也当想到黑暗的日子，因为这日子必多，所要来的都是虚空。

18. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
吃奶的孩子必玩耍在虺蛇的洞口，断奶的婴儿必按手在毒蛇的穴上。

19. Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do: but they did them not.
他们却不听从，不侧耳而听，竟随从自己顽梗的恶心去行。所以我使这约中一切咒诅的话临到他们身上。这约是我吩咐他们行的，他们却不去行。

20. And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.
有许多人，把衣服铺在路上，也有人把田间的树枝砍下来，铺在路上。

21. I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service.
我亏负了别的教会，向他们取了工价来，给你们效力。

22. Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord GOD.
你们怕刀剑，我必使刀剑临到你们。这是主耶和华说的。

23. And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north.
并将他们的神像和铸成的偶像，与金银的宝器掠到埃及去。数年之内，他不去攻击北方的王。

24. How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.
以法莲哪，我怎能舍弃你，以色列阿，我怎能弃绝你，我怎能使你如押玛，怎能使你如洗扁，我回心转意，我的怜爱大大发动。

25. Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
一月之内，我除灭三个牧人。因为我的心厌烦他们，他们的心也憎嫌我。

26. But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses.
你们出去，到底是要看什么，要看穿细软衣服的人吗，那穿细软衣服的人，是在王宫里。

27. I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.
我告诉你们，虽不因他是朋友起来给他，但因他情词迫切的直求，就必起来照他所需用的给他。

28. His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?
门徒说，拉比，犹太人近来要拿石头打你，你还往那里去吗。

29. But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.
我说，主阿，这是不可的。凡俗而不洁净的物，从来没有入过我的口。

30. (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
如经上所记，神给他们昏迷的心，眼睛不能看见，耳朵不能听见，直到今日。

31. For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
起初，男人不是由女人而出。女人乃是由男人而出。

32. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
亚伯拉罕因着信，蒙召的时候，就遵命出去，往将来要得为业的地方去。出去的时候，还不知往那里去。

33. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
他们的尸首就倒在大城里的街上。这城按着灵意叫所多玛，又叫埃及，就是他们的主钉十字架之处。
