1. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
因为耶和华在那里变乱天下人的言语，使众人分散在全地上，所以那城名叫巴别（就是变乱的意思）。

2. And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.
耶和华对摩西说，法老必不听你们，使我的奇事在埃及地多起来。

3. These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
水中可吃的乃是这些，凡在水里，海里，河里，有翅有鳞的，都可以吃。

4. And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it.
夜间露水降在营中，吗哪也随着降下。

5. And that ye may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey.
并使你们的日子在耶和华向你们列祖起誓，应许给他们和他们后裔的地上得以长久。那是流奶与蜜之地。

6. And Joshua did unto them as the LORD bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire.
约书亚就照耶和华所吩咐他的去行，砍断他们马的蹄筋，用火焚烧他们的车辆。

7. And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, If ye bring me home again to fight against the children of Ammon, and the LORD deliver them before me, shall I be your head?
耶弗他对基列的长老说，你们叫我回去，与亚扪人争战，耶和华把他交给我，我可以作你们的领袖吗。

8. And they said unto the messengers that came, Thus shall ye say unto the men of Jabeshgilead, To morrow, by that time the sun be hot, ye shall have help. And the messengers came and shewed it to the men of Jabesh; and they were glad.
众人对那使者说，你们要回覆基列雅比人说，明日太阳近午的时候，你们必得解救。使者回去告诉雅比人，他们就欢喜了。

9. But Uriah slept at the door of the king's house with all the servants of his lord, and went not down to his house.
乌利亚却和他主人的仆人一同睡在宫门外，没有回家去。

10. And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,
耶和华向所罗门发怒，因为他的心偏离向他两次显现的耶和华以色列的神。

11. And the captains over the hundreds did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest commanded: and they took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that should go out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada the priest.
众百夫长就照着祭司耶何耶大一切所吩咐的去行，各带所管安息日进班出班的人来见祭司耶何耶大。

12. So David waxed greater and greater: for the LORD of hosts was with him.
大卫日见强盛，因为万军之耶和华与他同在。

13. And Adoraim, and Lachish, and Azekah,
亚多莱音，拉吉，亚西加，

14. And Joel the son of Zichri was their overseer: and Judah the son of Senuah was second over the city.
细基利的儿子约珥是他们的长官。哈西努亚的儿子，犹大是耶路撒冷的副官。

15. The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.
其量比地长，比海宽。

16. An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
不虔敬的人用口败坏邻舍。义人却因知识得救。

17. Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.
少年人哪，你在幼年时当快乐。在幼年的日子，使你的心欢畅，行你心所愿行的，看你眼所爱看的，却要知道，为这一切的事，神必审问你。

18. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
在我圣山的遍处，这一切都不伤人，不害物。因为认识耶和华的知识要充满遍地，好像水充满洋海一般。

19. And the LORD said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
耶和华对我说，在犹大人和耶路撒冷居民中有同谋背叛的事。

20. And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
前行后随的人，都喊着说，和散那，（和散那原有求救的意思，在此乃是称颂的话）奉主名来的，是应当称颂的。

21. And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.
我在你们那里缺乏的时候，并没有累着你们一个人。因我所缺乏的，那从马其顿来的弟兄们都补足了。我向来凡事谨守，后来也必谨守，总不至于累着你们。

22. And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.
我必从这城中带出你们去，交在外邦人的手中，且要在你们中间施行审判。

23. So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land.
北方的王（原?文作他）必入南方王的国，却要仍回本地。

24. I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.
我必不发猛烈的怒气，也不再毁灭以法莲，因我是神，并非世人，是你们中间的圣者，我必不在怒中临到你们。

25. Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.
我就说，我不牧养你们。要死的，由他死。要丧亡的，由他丧亡。馀剩的，由他们彼此相食。

26. But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.
你们出去，究竟是为什么，是要看先知吗。我告诉你们，是的，他比先知大多了。

27. And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
我又告诉你们，你们祈求就给你们。寻梢就寻见。叩门就给你们开门。

28. Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.
耶稣回答说，白日不是有十二小时吗。人在白日走路，就不至跌倒，因为看见这世上的光。

29. But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
第二次，有声音从天上说，神所洁净的，你不可当作俗物。

30. And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
大卫也说，愿他们的筵席变为网罗，变为机槛，变为绊脚石，作他们的报应。

31. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
并且男人不是为女人造的。女人乃是为男人造的。

32. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
他因着信，就在所应许之地作客，好像在异地居住帐棚，与那同蒙一个应许的以撒，雅各一样。

33. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
从各民各族各方各国中，有人观看他们的尸首三天半，又不许把尸首放在坟墓里。
