1. And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu:
法勒活到三十岁，生了拉吴。

2. And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,
角鸱，鹈鹕，秃雕，

3. And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.
又要对百姓说，你们应当自洁，预备明天吃肉，因为你们哭号说，谁给我们肉吃。我们在埃及很好。这声音达到了耶和华的耳中，所以他必给你们肉吃。

4. Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.
你们要将我这话存在心内，留在意中，系在手上为记号，戴在额上为经文。

5. Joshua made war a long time with all those kings.
约书亚和这诸王争战了许多年日。

6. Then they went along through the wilderness, and compassed the land of Edom, and the land of Moab, and came by the east side of the land of Moab, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, but came not within the border of Moab: for Arnon was the border of Moab.
他们又经过旷野，绕着以东和摩押地，从摩押地的东边过来，在亚嫩河边安营，并没有入摩押的境内，因为亚嫩河是摩押的边界。

7. Then Joab sent and told David all the things concerning the war;
于是，约押差人去将争战的一切事告诉大卫，

8. And they arose out of Midian, and came to Paran: and they took men with them out of Paran, and they came to Egypt, unto Pharaoh king of Egypt; which gave him an house, and appointed him victuals, and gave him land.
他们从米甸起行，到了巴兰。从巴兰带着几个人来到埃及见埃及王法老。法老为他派定粮食，又给他房屋田地。

9. And all the people of the land went into the house of Baal, and brake it down; his altars and his images brake they in pieces thoroughly, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. And the priest appointed officers over the house of the LORD.
于是国民都到巴力庙，拆毁了庙，打碎坛和像，又在坛前将巴力的祭司玛坦杀了。祭司耶何耶大派官看守耶和华的殿，

10. And the three brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: but David would not drink of it, but poured it out to the LORD,
这三个勇士就闯过非利士人的营盘，从伯利恒城门旁的井里打水，拿来奉给大卫。他却不肯喝，将水奠在耶和华面前，

11. And Rehoboam took him Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David to wife, and Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse;
罗波安娶大卫儿子耶利摩的女儿玛哈拉为妻，又娶耶西儿子以利押的女儿亚比孩为妻。

12. All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred fourscore and four.
在圣城的利未人共二百八十四名。

13. And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.
你因有指望就必稳固，也必四围巡查，坦然安息。

14. The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.
恶人经营，得虚浮的工价。撒义种的，得实在的果效。

15. And the LORD hath given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then thou shewedst me their doings.
耶和华指示我，我就知道。你将他们所行的给我指明。

16. And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.
祭司长和文士听见这话就想法子要除灭耶稣。却又怕他，因为众人都希奇他的教训。

17. Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also.
既有好些人凭着血气自夸，我也要自夸了。

18. And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.
他们必到那里，也必从其中除掉一切可憎可厌的物。

19. After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him.
其后他必转回夺取了许多海岛。但有一大帅，除掉他令人受的羞辱，并且使这羞辱归他本身。

20. For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.
约翰来了，也不吃，也不喝，人就说他是被鬼附着的。

21. If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.
若撒但自相分争，他的国怎能站得住呢。因为你们说我是靠着别西卜赶鬼。

22. Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off:
伯大尼离耶路撒冷不远，约有六里路。

23. When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
众人听见这话，就不言语了。只归荣耀与神，说，这样看来，神也赐恩给外邦人，叫他们悔改得生命了。

24. Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
你就不可向旧枝子夸口，若是夸口，当知道不是你托着根，乃是根托着你。

25. For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
第一，我听说你们聚会的时候，彼此分门别类。我也稍微的信这话。

26. Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
论到这儿子曾有话说，从以撒生的才要称为你的后裔。

27. And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
外邦发怒，你的忿怒也临到了。审判死人的时候也到了。你的仆人众先知，和众圣徒，凡敬畏你名的人连大带小得赏赐的时候也到了。你败坏那些败坏世界之人的时候也就到了。
