1. And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.
希伯生法勒之后，又活了四百三十年，并且生儿养女。

2. And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,
？？鸟，鸬鹚，猫头鹰，

3. And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.
我要在那里降临，与你说话，也要把降于你身上的灵分赐他们，他们就和你同当这管百姓的重任，免得你独自担当。

4. And then the LORD's wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you.
耶和华的怒气向你们发作，就使天闭塞不下雨，地也不出产，使你们在耶和华所赐给你们的美地上速速灭亡。

5. Even from the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir, even unto Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon under mount Hermon: and all their kings he took, and smote them, and slew them.
从上西珥的哈拉山，直到黑门山下黎巴嫩平原的巴力迦得，并且擒获那些地的诸王，将他们杀死。

6. Then Israel sent messengers unto the king of Edom, saying, Let me, I pray thee, pass through thy land: but the king of Edom would not hearken thereto. And in like manner they sent unto the king of Moab: but he would not consent: and Israel abode in Kadesh.
就打发使者去见以东王，说，求你容我从你的地经过。以东王却不应允。又照样打发使者去见摩押王，他也不允准。以色列人就住在加低斯。

7. And the men of the city went out, and fought with Joab: and there fell some of the people of the servants of David; and Uriah the Hittite died also.
城里的人出来和约押打仗。大卫的仆人中有几个被杀的，赫人乌利亚也死了。

8. That Hadad fled, he and certain Edomites of his father's servants with him, to go into Egypt; Hadad being yet a little child.
那时哈达还是幼童。他和他父亲的臣仆，几个以东人逃往埃及。

9. And Jehoiada made a covenant between the LORD and the king and the people, that they should be the LORD's people; between the king also and the people.
耶何耶大使王和民与耶和华立约，作耶和华的民。又使王与民立约。

10. And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, that is at the gate!
大卫渴想，说，甚愿有人将伯利恒城门旁井里的水打来给我喝。

11. So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong, three years: for three years they walked in the way of David and Solomon.
这样，就坚固犹大国，使所罗门的儿子罗波安强盛三年，因为他们三年遵行大卫和所罗门的道。

12. And Mattaniah the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, was the principal to begin the thanksgiving in prayer: and Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.
祈祷的时候，为称谢领首的是米迦的儿子玛他尼。米迦是撒底的儿子。撒底是亚萨的儿子。又有玛他尼弟兄中的八布迦为副。还有沙母亚的儿子押大。沙母亚是加拉的儿子。加拉是耶杜顿的儿子。

13. And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday: thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.
你在世的日子要比正午更明，虽有黑暗仍像早晨。

14. The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.
仁慈的人，善待自己。残忍的人，扰害己身。

15. For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.
原来栽培你的万军之耶和华已经说，要降祸攻击你，是因以色列家和犹大家行恶，向巴力烧香，惹我发怒，是自作自受。

16. And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
便教训他们说，经上不是记着说，我的殿必称为万国祷告的殿吗。你们倒使他成为贼窝了。

17. That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.
我说的话，不是奉主命说的，乃是像愚妄人放胆自夸。

18. Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
你当说，主耶和华如此说，我必从万民中招聚你们，从分散的列国内聚集你们，又要将以色列地赐给你们。

19. He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.
他必定意用全国之力而来，立公正的约，照约而行，将自己的女儿给南方王为妻，想要败坏他（或作埃及），这计却不得成就，与自己毫无益处。

20. Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
无用的牧人丢弃羊群有祸了。刀必临到他的膀臂，和右眼上。他的膀臂必全然枯乾，他的右眼也必昏暗失明。

21. And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.
我们向你们吹笛，你们不跳舞。我们向你们举哀，你们不捶胸。

22. But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.
他晓得他们的意念，便对他们说，凡一国自相分争，就成为荒场。凡一家自相分争，就必败落。

23. Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already.
耶稣到了，就知道拉撒路在坟墓里，已经四天了。

24. Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?
神既然给他们恩赐，像在我们信主耶稣基督的时候，给了我们一样，我是谁，能拦阻神呢。

25. And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
若有几根枝子被折下来，你这野橄榄得接在其中，一同得着橄榄根的肥汁。

26. Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
我现今吩咐你们的话，不是称赞你们。因为你们聚会不是受益，乃是招损。

27. By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
亚伯拉罕因着信，被试验的时候，就把以撒献上。这便是那欢喜领受应许的，将自己独生的儿子献上。

28. Saying, We give thee thanks, O LORD God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
说，昔在今在的主神，全能者阿，我们感谢你，因你执掌大权作王了。
