1. But Sarai was barren; she had no child.
撒莱不生育，没有孩子。

2. And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.
壁虎，龙子，守宫，蛇医，？？蜓。

3. And Moses gat him into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.
于是，摩西和以色列的长老都回到营里去。

4. Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?
这二山岂不是在约旦河那边，日落之处，在住亚拉巴的迦南人之地与吉甲相对，靠近摩利橡树吗，

5. And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands,
耶弗他就向耶和华许愿，说，你若将亚扪人交在我手中，

6. And Ahijah caught the new garment that was on him, and rent it in twelve pieces:
亚希雅将自己穿的那件新衣撕成十二片，

7. Maharai the Netophathite, Heled the son of Baanah the Netophathite,
尼陀法人玛哈莱，尼陀法人巴拿的儿子希立，

8. Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, at Lachish, and the fields thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Beersheba unto the valley of Hinnom.
撒挪亚，亚杜兰，和属这两处的村庄。拉吉和属拉吉的田地。亚西加和属亚西加的乡村。他们所住的地方是从别是巴直到欣嫩谷。

9. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
义人所结的果子，就是生命树。有智慧的必能得人。

10. If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.
我若必须自夸，就夸那关乎我软弱的事便了。

11. For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.
因为基提战船必来攻击他，他就丧胆而回，又要恼恨圣约，任意而行。他必回来联络背弃圣约的人。

12. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
因为我的轭是容易的，我的担子是轻省的。

13. The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me.
约翰的洗礼，是从天上来的是从人间来的呢。你们可以回答我。

14. For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.
约拿怎样为尼尼微人成了神迹，人子也要照样为这世代的人成了神迹。

15. Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him.
那时，耶稣还没有进村子，仍在马大迎接他的地方。

16. Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.
他们就这样行，把捐项托巴拿巴和扫罗，送到众长老那里。

17. For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
你们从前不顺服神，如今因他们的不顺服，你们倒蒙了怜恤。

18. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
因此，在你们中间有好些软弱的，与患病的，死的也不少（死原文作睡）。

19. By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.
以色列人因着信，围绕耶利哥城七日，城墙就倒塌了。
