1. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
他们往东边迁移的时候，在示拿地遇见一片平原，就住在那里。

2. Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold.
你要传于百姓的耳中，叫他们男女各人向邻舍要金器银器。

3. Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
你们晓谕以色列人说，在地上一切走兽中可吃的乃是这些，

4. And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the fire was quenched.
百姓向摩西哀求，摩西祈求耶和华，火就熄了。

5. And know ye this day: for I speak not with your children which have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his stretched out arm,
你们今日当知道，我本不是和你们的儿女说话。因为他们不知道，也没有看见耶和华你们神的管教，威严，大能的手，和伸出来的膀臂，

6. And to the kings that were on the north of the mountains, and of the plains south of Chinneroth, and in the valley, and in the borders of Dor on the west,
与北方山地，基尼烈南边的亚拉巴高原，并西边多珥山冈的诸王。

7. And Gilead's wife bare him sons; and his wife's sons grew up, and they thrust out Jephthah, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father's house; for thou art the son of a strange woman.
基列的妻也生了几个儿子，他妻所生的儿子长大了，就赶逐耶弗他，说，你不可在我们父家承受产业，因为你是妓女的儿子。

8. And Nahash the Ammonite answered them, On this condition will I make a covenant with you, that I may thrust out all your right eyes, and lay it for a reproach upon all Israel.
亚扪人拿辖说，你们若由我剜出你们各人的右眼，以此凌辱以色列众人，我就与你们立约。

9. And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon.
一日，太阳平西，大卫从床上起来，在王宫的平顶上游行，看见一个妇人沭浴，容貌甚美，

10. Of the nations concerning which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.
论到这些国的人，耶和华曾晓谕以色列人说，你们不可与她们往来相通，因为她们必诱惑你们的心去随从她们的神。所罗门却恋爱这些女子。

11. But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons which were slain; and they hid him, even him and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so that he was not slain.
但约兰王的女儿，亚哈谢的妹子约示巴，将亚哈谢的儿子约阿施从那被杀的王子中偷出来，把他和他的乳母都藏在卧房里，躲避亚他利雅，免得被杀。

12. And moreover in time past, even when Saul was king, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD thy God said unto thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be ruler over my people Israel.
从前扫罗作王的时候，率领以色列人出入的是你。耶和华你的神也曾应许你说，你必牧养我的民以色列，作以色列的君。

13. But the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying,
但耶和华的话临到神人示玛雅说，

14. And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.
凡甘心乐意住在耶路撒冷的，百姓都为他们祝福。

15. Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?
这许多的言语岂不该回答吗。多嘴多舌的人岂可称为义吗。

16. For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
看哪，恶人弯弓，把箭搭在弦上，要在暗中射那心里正直的人。

17. When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
骄傲来，羞耻也来。谦逊人却有智慧。

18. Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.
你要分给七人，或分给八人，因为你不知道将来有什么灾祸临到地上。

19. And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
耶和华的灵必住在他身上，就是使他有智慧和聪明的灵，谋略和能力的灵，知识和敬畏耶和华的灵。

20. And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.
对他们说，你们往对面村子里去。一进去的时候，必看见一匹驴驹拴在那里，是从来没有人骑过的。可以解开牵来。

21. For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
我为你们起的愤恨，原是神那样的愤恨。因为我曾把你们许配一个丈夫，要把你们如同贞洁的童女，献给基督。

22. Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;
当听这约的话，告诉犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民，

23. Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:
耶和华对我说，人子阿，这就是图谋罪孽的人，在这城中给人设恶谋。

24. And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.
现在我将真事指示你，波斯还有三王兴起，第四王必富足远胜诸王。他因富足成为强盛，就必激动大众攻击希腊国。

25. As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images.
先知越发招呼他们，他们越发走开，向诸巴力献祭，给雕刻的偶像烧香。

26. Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down.
松树阿，应当哀号，因为香柏树倾倒，佳美的树毁坏。巴珊的橡树阿，应当哀号，因为茂盛的树林已经倒了。

27. Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,
约翰在监里听见基督所作的事，就打发两个门徒去，

28. And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
耶稣说，你们祷告的时候，要说，我们在天上的父，有古卷只作父阿愿人都尊你的名为圣。愿你的国降临。愿你的旨意行在地上，如同行在天上。有古卷无愿你的旨意云云

29. (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)
这马利亚就是那用香膏抹主，又用头发擦他脚的。患病的拉撒路是他的兄弟。

30. And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,
及至彼得上了耶路撒冷，那些奉割礼的门徒和他争辩说，

31. God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,
神并每有弃绝他豫先所知道的百姓。你们岂不晓得经上论到以利亚是怎吗说的呢。他在神面前怎样控告以色列人，说，

32. Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.
我称赞你们，因你们凡事记念我，又坚守我所传给你们的。

33. For by it the elders obtained a good report.
古人在这信上得了美好的证据。

34. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
只是殿外的院子，要留下不用量。因为这是给了外邦人的。他们要践踏圣城四十二个月。
