1. And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah:
亚法撒活到三十五岁，生了沙拉。

2. Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.
凡水里无翅无鳞的，你们都当以为可憎。

3. Have I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that thou shouldest say unto me, Carry them in thy bosom, as a nursing father beareth the sucking child, unto the land which thou swarest unto their fathers?
这百姓岂是我怀的胎，岂是我生下来的呢，你竟对我说，把他们抱在怀里，如养育之父抱吃奶的孩子，直抱到你起誓应许给他们祖宗的地去。

4. A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.
是耶和华你神所眷顾的。从岁首到年终，耶和华你神的眼目时常看顾那地。

5. And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, did Joshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the LORD commanded.
约书亚夺了这些王的一切城邑，擒获其中的诸王，用刀击杀他们，将他们尽行杀灭，正如耶和华仆人摩西所吩咐的。

6. And Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to do with me, that thou art come against me to fight in my land?
耶弗他打发使者去见亚扪人的王，说，你与我有什么相干，竟来到我国中攻打我呢。

7. And the people said unto Samuel, Who is he that said, Shall Saul reign over us? bring the men, that we may put them to death.
百姓对撒母耳说，那说扫罗岂能管理我们的是谁呢。可以将他交出来，我们好杀死他。

8. And David said to Uriah, Tarry here to day also, and to morrow I will let thee depart. So Uriah abode in Jerusalem that day, and the morrow.
大卫吩咐乌利亚说，你今日仍住在这里，明日我打发你去。于是乌利亚那日和次日住在耶路撒冷。

9. Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father's sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.
然而，因你父亲大卫的缘故，我不在你活着的日子行这事，必从你儿子的手中将国夺回。

10. And he brought forth the king's son, and put the crown upon him, and gave him the testimony; and they made him king, and anointed him; and they clapped their hands, and said, God save the king.
祭司领王子出来，给他戴上冠冕，将律法书交给他，膏他作王。众人就拍掌说，愿王万岁。

11. And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, who was one of the three mighties.
其次是亚合人犰多的儿子以利亚撒，他是三个勇士里的一个。

12. And in every several city he put shields and spears, and made them exceeding strong, having Judah and Benjamin on his side.
他在各城里预备盾牌和枪，且使城极其坚固。犹大和便雅悯都归了他。

13. And their brethren that did the work of the house were eight hundred twenty and two: and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchiah,
还有他们的弟兄在殿里供职的，共八百二十二名。又有耶罗罕的儿子亚大雅。耶罗罕是毗拉利的儿子。毗拉利是暗洗的儿子。暗洗是撒迦利亚的儿子。撒迦利亚是巴施户珥的儿子。巴施户珥是玛基雅的儿子。

14. For vain man would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass's colt.
空虚的人却毫无知识。人生在世好像野驴的驹子。

15. He that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbour: but a man of understanding holdeth his peace.
藐视邻舍的，毫无智慧。明哲人却静默不言。

16. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
他必向列国竖立大旗，招回以色列被赶散的人，又从地的四方聚集分散的犹大人。

17. Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble.
那时，犹大城邑的人和耶路撒冷的居民要去哀求他们烧香所供奉的神。只是遭难的时候，这些神毫不拯救他们。

18. And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:
第二天，他们从伯大尼出来。耶稣饿了，

19. But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.
我现在所作的，后来还要作，为要断绝那些寻机会人的机会，使他们在所夸的事上，也不过与我们一样。

20. And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.
你们就知道我是耶和华。因为你们没有遵行我的律例，也没有顺从我的典章，却随从你们四围列国的恶规。

21. And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it.
他的众军高傲，他的心也必自高。他虽使数万人仆倒，却不得常胜。

22. Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints.
以法莲用谎话，以色列家用诡计围绕我，犹大却靠神掌权，向圣者有忠心。（或作犹大向神，向诚实的圣者犹疑不定）。

23. And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
我对他们说，你们若以为美，就给我工价，不然，就吧了。于是他们给了三十块钱，作为我的工价。

24. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
从施洗约翰的时候到如今，天国是努力进入的，努力的人就得着了。

25. Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
求鸡蛋，反给他蝎子呢。

26. Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.
门徒说，主阿，他若睡了，就必好了。

27. And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house:
圣灵吩咐我和他们同去，不要疑惑。（或作不要分别等类）同着我去的，还有这六位弟兄。我们都进了那人的家。

28. Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
若他们的过失，为天下的富足，他们的缺乏，为外邦人的富足。何况他们的丰满呢。

29. For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
因为女人原是由男人而出，男人也是由女人而出。但万有都是出乎神。

30. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
所以从一个彷佛已死的人就生出子孙，如同天上的星那样众多，海边的沙那样无数。

31. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
两位先知听见有大声音从天上来，对他们说，上到这里来。他们就驾着云上了天。他们的仇敌也看见了。
